Location and views were amazing. The retained history of the house made it a lovely place to be. Breakfast was good quality with decent hot and continental options.

Breakfast and evening meals were lovely - including both vegan and gluten-free options. We had a family room which was perfect for us and our teenage daughter as the sofa bed is in a separate area to the main bedroom. The main bedroom was small but was fine for us. If you're on foot, the hotel is only a 15 minute walk from Lymington town train station, and less than half an hour to walk round to Lymington Pier if you plan to take the ferry over to Yarmouth.

Set alongside the riverbank near Lymington, in the New Forest, The Old Mill is a stunning conversion of an old water mill.
