Romantic Hotels in Castelrotto

This hotel was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights in December and it totally exceeded expectations. The restaurant was top notch, we had all our meals here during our 3 night stay and it was all delicious. Large breakfast buffet, excellent lunch buffet, multi-course dinner, just the best! All the staff were helpful and genuine. What really made this hotel outstanding were the pool and spa facilities. It was all very modern and stylish, even in December the rooftop pool is open and heated which was my favorite place to spend the afternoons. Multiple saunas and other spa facilities, it was all clean and never felt crowded. Kastelruth is such a perfect little village, this was my third time staying there but my first time at this hotel. I would love to return and stay for longer next time.

This is a lovely, charming place. It’s a short walk to Kastelruth, and the buses stop right outside the hotel. The sauna is wonderful. The food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian. It’s a great home base to explore the Dolomites!

Excellent breakfast and excellent location

This B&B was a gorgeous 700 year old classic old home made into a B&B! Everything about this place was outstanding. Katerina checked us in in their other hotel down the street. Which that locations was just as beautiful! She was wonderful and absolute charm to talk to! She told us everything and more to go and see. The hostess at breakfast were just as accommodating and helping us with our next hike! Breakfast perfect with plenty to choose from. It was an honesty bar where you pay what you drink and then pay when you leave. It had everything from liquor to classic wines from that region. Our room was huge with a 4 post bed and the bathroom had a 2 person bathtub! The buses where right outside our building to travel to Bolzano or any hiking place nearby. It has a quiet room downstairs that had a sauna, shower and quiet space just to relax WOW! It also had a quiet study to play checkers or chess or just read a book. I could go on and on but the best part was we woke up to see the Dolmites right from our balcony every morning! What a beautiful site to see! Highly recommended. Hope to be back next year!

The breakfast was good and the staff was kind and helpful. The jacuzzi and the sauna give it a plus. The rooms were very clean and well spacious.

I hadn't stayed here before so not sure what to expect but it was truly lovely. The room was very comfortable and quite large, with a super nice Jacuzzi shower/tub combo, huge bathroom and bedroom, lovely corner view of the Schlern mountain, lots of storage space. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff truly lovely (although there was a slight language barrier with one staff member as I don't speak Italian). Even lift access to my floor from reception/breakfast which I didn't expect (though do note the entrance is not level access and involves multiple sets of steps). A brief walk down to the centre of Seis am Schlern/Siusi and its grocery store and bus station, with a slightly longer walk to the Seiser Alm Bahn. Would gladly stay here again.

Great accommodations and the owners were extremely nice!

The location was really good, close to alpe di siusi and Ortisei. The owner was very helpful with everything and available for any questions. Unfortunately we lost the key of the apartment but the owner was very nice to give us another one without any penalty. The sauna and relaxing part was very cool after some hours of hiking around. Will definitely come and visit it again.

Very cute and super cozy room with a lovely view from the balcony. Amazing breakfast stuffed with delicious options. The couple who welcomed us were absolutely kind. I’d definitely come back for a longer visit :)

Lovely family run hotel and restaurant located in a convenient location from which to explore the alpe de suisi and Funes valley

The host was super nice. We arrived late and she waited for us to arrive. Super easy everything. The place was clean, it had everything you needed and beds were comfortable.

Excellent food and wait staff! Different menu every night, with good choices/options. Perfect portion sizes for multiple courses.

The staff at Hotel Castel Oswald von Wolkenstein is exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive. They go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. A special mention goes to Maria and David from the service team, as well as the receptionist, who were all extremely kind and helpful. The hotel itself feels brand new, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. The food was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The garden surrounding the hotel is stunning, and the spa area adds a wonderful touch of relaxation to the stay.

The hotel is exactly like on pictures , even prettier ! Staff is very accommodating, polite, and eager to help! We had breakfast and dinner included in our room rate, and the food was just amazing! We love that the bus stop to the cable car is just across the street. We definitely come back and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Personnel was great, informative and always there to help us. The room and hotel was spotless clean, spacy and the breakfast had everything. The dinner which we had in the hotel was better than anything we had tried in Ortisei and Selva di Val Gardena. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

The views are incredible. Make sure you get the mountain view room. Staff are great. It’s only a 10 minute free bus ride from town which was easy. Highly recommend.

More formal than other places we stayed, but the service level is top notch. Nice pool and sauana complex that is included. The dinners and breakfasts were included for us. The food was excellent, without being quite as top notch as the facility itself. The hiking and biking are right outside and it is world class.

The structure is an older building, but the cleanliness is incredible ! The staff are amazing, especially Mario and Aisha - what great humans ! The staff at breakfast and dinner are welcoming and so accommodating.

We had the best time! The staff went out of their way to increase our joy and relaxation. The pool and spa are designed beautifully, so relaxing and beautiful to the eye. All the senses are pleased by the outside, the food, the art, the care of each staff and the gorgeous furniture and bedding.

The room was good with stunning view.staffs were friendly and warm welcome.we had a very good memorial tand very good time there.

I felt like I was treated like a family member with love

I liked the scenic view from my room a lot, also the balcony and room were very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner was amazing! Do not hesitate to book the dinner at the hotel, as it is really worth it and for a good price.

Very nice and cozy place and a gorgeous restaurant. The staff at the hotel and restaurant was very friendly and helpful in our requests and suggestions for the places to visit during our stay, taking into consideration it was Christmas time 😍
