The hotel is so well up keep, wonderful amenities the staff is amazing. Very helpful on my stay here a good breakfast buffet, and a bar and some hot sandwiches if you need them late at night.

Spectacular setting, in the charming port town of Son. The spa facilities, including the sauna, were first-rate. The dinner we had outside was the best we had during a two-week trip to Norway. Staff were friendly and always helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything about this place was excellent. It is in a great location, easy walking to everything in town. Be sure to check out the Whaling Museum (Slottsfjellsmuseet), just a few blocks away, with its many enormous whale skeletons and other exhibits on the history of the region. The hotel room was good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was terrific with a large variety of offerings. The hotel has an on-site underground garage for self parking. While the parking fee was expensive ( NOK 420 per night), it was extremely convenient. (It also looked like there were some other public lots across the street and in the neighborhood that may be less pricey, especially for longer stays) Overall we had a great stay and recommend the Hotel Klubben as an excellent choice in Tønsberg.

Immaculate. The room was neatly organized, and the controls for room lights and bathroom water were intuitive. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. There’s a built in clothes line too. TV easy with music options. The window opens just enough to get a breath of fresh air, even though the room temperature was perfect. The staff was cheerful, efficient, quiet, cooperative, helpful, and pleasant. The lobby is a good place to sit with coffee/tea ready to make any time. The breakfast buffet—oh my! There is such a variety of, plenty of it, and all delicious. All the guests served ourselves quietly and the place was spotless. Hot food was hot, cold food cold.

Located by the marina, this hotel offers views of Tønsberg Canal as it flows into the Vestfjord. It has free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast selection was nice and big, the room was very nice, comfortable bed. And the location of the hotel was perfect for my purposes there (concert in Foynhagen right next to it.
