Everything!!our room was clean,spacious and comfortable. Joum was a fantastic host. She is very kind, attentive and approachable. Although breakfast wasn't included in our booking, the free buffet available for all the guests was more than we expected. Fresh fruits, jam,bread, biscuits,coffee and more. Location was great, just a few steps away from the central part of the historical park. Bikes were not available but you could easily rent them in one of the many bike shops around for just 30 thb. We loved sukhothai and this accommodation. Highly recommended.

My family absolutely loved this place. We were so touched to learn that the cabins, furniture, and even the pottery were all handmade by Uncle (the husband) himself. Both Uncle and Aunty were incredibly kind and warm. They booked a tuk-tuk for us, and Aunty gave us a map each day with tips on where to find good food, the nearest 7/11, and the best spots to catch the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was served daily and featured local food and fruits freshly harvested from their organic garden— sooo good! I even had the best tea of my life at this property. There’s wildlife around, so don’t panic if you hear noises on your roof at night—it’s all part of the experience. The cabins were very clean, cozy, and full of character. If we could stay here forever, we would. Uncle was especially kind to my son—he took him around the property to find frogs and even catch fish in the pond. (Edit to add) The Wi-Fi in the first two rooms closest to their main house is excellent. Three of us worked online for over 8 hours a day, and the connection was solid the entire time.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Thailand and actually in general. I stayed here twice: in late 2019 and in early 2024. Hotel is ideal place for family or if you just want to stay alone in calm area on nature yet with high level of comfort and still close to civilization. Rooms are in small bungalows carefully made of wood surrounded with tropical garden. There is tiny river 20 meters behind. Atmosphere is very calm - no noise and crowds. Everything (wifi, shower, AC) work very good. Wifi internet actually was faster than my dtac internet. And there are two ways to reach Old Town by foot or bicycle. Inside the hotel you can eat home food and rent a bicycle or order tuk tuk. Owner is very nice intelligent and hardworking Thai woman. She makes all her best to care about hotel. Hotel is quite fresh because when Thailand was closed in 2020-2022 she renovated everything. also owner is very flexible and quickly responds to messages: i wanted to pay not by credit card but in cash on the spot. so we quickly solved this question by correspondence in messages

The receptionist was one of the friendliest people we have met in Thailaand, and was extremely attentive. The staff are attentive even when not needed, and all you have to do is look up and around for one of them to ask you if you need something. This hotel is brimming with old Thai charm, so if you want to stay in an authentic teak house, this is as close as I have seen. The courtyard with the pool was picture perfect. There's even a gift shop with handmade local goods, and the restaurant was fantastic. Beautiful artwork and antiques are all around.

It’s a small family run hotel that makes all the efforts to make its guests satisfied. The rooms are big, bed was comfy (not soft), very generous delicious breakfast; very helpful staff. Before that I stayed in more expensive resort in Sukhothai (in worse location, eggs & bread for breakfast and cold attitude from the staff). Then I moved to Sukhothai Garden and felt so lucky: it is just a minute walk from the main street and a few minutes walk from the Historical Park; the staff are very helpful and even gave information on what to see around (very rare in Thailand); the breakfast was great - they cook a lot of Thai dishes but also have western breakfast options. Most of the personnel don’t speak English but trying their best to help. The receptionist called me a TukTuk at 5:30 am and I went to see sunrise on a hill with beautiful huge standing Buddha statue outside the city - it was magical. The receptionist also told me where I can see the morning ritual of monks receiving food from people every morning at 6 a.m. From Sukhothai I took a bus to my next destination and the owner of the hotel brought me by car to the bus stop (which is very near on the main street). I had great time in Sukhothai thanks to people who run Sukhothai Garden and warmly recommend the place.

Absolutely charming location. Wonderful staff. Clean and quaint. The porch set up for enjoying a morning coffee was fabulous with the view of the grounds and the bird song. We loved being able to rent bikes from the hotel and goto Sukhothai Historical Park.
