There was plenty space to hang out with 3 other long-time friends in an afternoon to get caught up on the last 38 years. There is no breakfast in the off season (clearly stated and with discounted rate), but there was a restaurant nearby that was great. The host was responsive to all questions. Check-in was smooth. I will look for this place over others should I return.

Unfortunately we missed the communal breakfast at 9am due to our early flight, but Brian VERY kindly provide us with delicious muffins and fruit. There are three very well appointed and provisioned rooms around a patio and a pool in a very quiet area of Vancouver, on which Brian is a fund of information. FAR better than staying in an hotel - we STRONGLY recommend this lovely B&B.. .

Across the street from the Vancouver Art Gallery, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Robson Street Shopping District. It offers an indoor saltwater lap pool, a spa and 24-hour room service. We were upgraded to a Suite which was very comfortable. We loved the traditional feel of the hotel - classic style and excellent hospitality. All the staff were excellent - either well recruited or well trained or both. They went out of their way to accommodate us at all interactions - from arrival to check in and in the dining areas. The light meals in the downstairs were excellent and the staff there were some of the best we have encountered.

The gym exceeded my expectations, both in terms of size and the quality of the equipment. Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, Tableau, was another highlight. This French restaurant offers food of truly excellent quality, making it a pleasure to start the day there. The location is superb — within walking distance of many tourist attractions and downtown, where numerous shuttle buses depart for other key sights. Overall, this hotel delivers a high-quality, personal experience in a prime location. Highly recommended.
