The food is excellent all around. The staff is very helpful and corteous. Be careful when choosing a room. Some have incredible views, but the rooms on the 4th floor only have skylights and no windows, which is frustrating when the scenery is so beautiful. The spa is fantastic.

He prepares for us a breakfast bag as we left the hotel very early. Highly recommended with amazing price/ quality ratio.

Located in Punta Arenas, one of the most southernly points in Chile, Hotel Diego de Almagro offers accommodations on the coast of the Magellan Strait. Great price and location. The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.
