The room was lovely and spacious, with plenty of storage for our luggage. There was a comfortable bed and separate lounge/seating area, along with a balcony that had a table and chairs. It was great sitting out in the evening. The breakfast was excellent, with so much choice of hot and cold options. The location was about 10 to 15 minutes walk into town down a steep hill, but the exercise helped to work off the breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again.

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby!
