This guest house is set in Oberding in quiet Bavarian countryside, a 5-minute drive from Munich Airport. The Brandmayerhof provides free parking and great access to the A9 and A92 motorways. only stayed there for a single night after a late landing at the nearby Munich airport. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.

Everything was good during our stay, but a special mention has to made about the breakfast. At all my travels in hotels during 40 years, I have never seen such an abundant breakfast, enormous amount of choice, all fresh (also the scrambled eggs), top quality breads, jelly’s, fruits and yogurts. Even Hyatts, Hiltons and Marriott’s can learn something from this.

Near restaurants and the market. Near the ski school and the only ski resort that was open a the time of our stay was less than 20 min away by car.

This hotel is located in the centre of Planegg, only 300 metres from the Planegg S-Bahn Train Station. Munich's Marienplatz square is a 25-minute journey away. One of our most wonderful stays with three children, spacious room, comfortable beds, absolutely spotless clean, delicious and diverse breakfast, breakfast area with big closed balcony and view, dedicated and attentive staff, great value for money!
