This attractive guest house is set on Candelada’s main street, 200 metres from Plaza Mayor and the Casa de las Flores. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a charming restaurant. the building and rooms are renewed, very clean and quite. Every day we had cakes, water, coffee and tea in the room.

Set within Sierra de Gredos Regional Park, Remanso de Gredos offers charming rooms. It features an à la carte restaurant and a relaxing lounge overlooking the surrounding valley. We (two married couples) stayed at Remanso for two nights in April. Everything about our stay at the location was delightful. The views from the rooms and terrace are breathtaking and the whole atmosphere is utterly peaceful. There are nice paved walking paths that go up into the mountains and around the village that provided peaceful and relaxing recreation. The staff catered to our every need with a smile. We ate three meals each day at the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed a great variety of traditional regional dishes and soups. They served me the best steak I ate in Spain. (Fantastic!) The lake trout was also exceptional. My wife really enjoyed the sopa castellana. The bed was firm and comfortable. The shower always had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

Hostal Rural Luna y Hostal Rural Lunaposada have a charming setting in the old town of Candeleda, in the Sierra de Gredos Mountains. There is a 24-hour reception and air-conditioned rooms. Wonderful & very helpful hosts.The location is perfect for exploring the town as well as hiking.

It is a typical and very comfortable house, with a delicious patio for private use in which we enjoyed having supper and breakfast we cooked in the kitchenette. Our dog was happy to move freely in the patio and the house. Lourdes the hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Situated on the banks of the Tormes River, guests at this modern hotel can enjoy wonderful mountain views from the hotel’s summer terrace. La Covatilla Ski resort is about 20 minutes' drive away. We loved our room here,as both the bedroom and bathroom were very nicely designed and spacious,but maybe what we loved most of all,was the view from our window as evey morning we woke up to the sun on the Roman bridge crossing the river to the town!We found it also very reasonably priced for August,so much so that we extended our stay! All in all,highly recommended!!
