Located in the centre of Thouars, 33 km from Saumur, B&B Des Glycines features a terrace and views of the city. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This property is an absolute gem! It is one of our all time favorite stays. Our hosts met us after a long, hot day on our touring bicycles with cold juice and a very warm welcome. We arrived on a very busy bank holiday weekend but Pepita immediately was able to secure us dinner reservations. The house has been renovated with such charm and comfort that we immediately fell in love. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were amazing. After a very comfortable nights stay we were feasted with the best breakfast ever including fresh fruits and juices, yogurts, croissants, an assortment of fresh breads, eggs, bacon, and of course, excellent coffee. If I could give this stay a rating of 11 I would!

Very nice nive and quiet location, the design is great, looks like an old castle and the host was very nice. There was also a very nice dog "security guard".

The lady at the reception desk is extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating. The room was really comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were really pleasantely surprised by the size of the room and the bathroom. It is spacious and a lot bigger than many places we have stayed at before. The location cannot be better, very central, yet quiet. We loved it and highly recommend it.
