Located in Bages, Le Mas de la Prade is 2 km from the centre of Bages. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a garden with outdoor furniture. Free WiFi is provided. A beautiful 18th century Mas that has been very carefully and stylefully renovated with much love. The surroundings are v calm, a little off from the village nearby. The road that leads there is bumpy and feels like you end up nowhere. But finally you reach a very nice spot. The hosts (son and mum) were very welcoming. They take more than great care of their guests. The Mas can accomodate ten or eleven guests max. There is, I think, four or five guest rooms. I was in the room ‚Anglaise‘ with its lavish space and sweet view of the garden. I slept beautifully! And I would definitely come back!!! :) (Don‘t confuse the Mas de la Prade with the Domaine de la Prade, which is next door but is the private home of another family. )

Located 50 metres from the beach, in front of the tourism centre in Saint-Cyprien Plage, this property features a communal interior garden, a panoramic lounge and a rooftop sun terrace. Lovely spacious room with large bed. Nice veranda looking over the beach and town. Great rooftop area for drinks and enjoyment. Very clean. Highly recommend to visitors.

Situated 400 metres from Dorres sulphurous hot spring, El Balcó de Dorres offers a living room with an LCD TV, DVD player, board games and fireplace. I went to this place to do nothing and rest for a few days. It was really perfect for my purpose. The place is located in a very quiet village. The Roman bath is 3 minutes away on foot. It is a great place to enjoy tranquility. I slept so good there. Hiking is supposed to be very good although I didn't go hiking while I was there. The best thing is though the hosts. Luis and Monica work very hard to make everyone feel comfortable. If they offer dinner as an option, don't ask a question and just take it. The food is incredibly delicious (much better than the hotel restaurant nearby). I really enjoyed my stay there.

Set in the historic centre of Argelès-sur-Mer, this guest house is 2.5 km from the beach. You can visit the twice-a-week market, which surrounds the house. The place, the accommodation and most of all the owners/staff whos kindness and helpfulness was exeptionel.

Everything. The grounds were stunning and our room had a huge terrace facing Mt. Canigou. The gorgeous building and gardens were wonderful. There was a self service bar offering wine and spirits at a very reasonable cost. The breakfast room is gorgeous with beautiful views. And the selection at breakfast was expansive. We were the first of the season to use the wonderful pool. Ample parking. Kate and Nick are terrific hosts.

Hotel Relais des Chartreuses is set in a 17th-century Catalan farmhouse converted into a 4-star hotel, just 3 km from A9 Motorway access and 20 km from the beach. This is our second stay, and it was just as good if not better than the first. The hotel has been modernised and refurbished beautifully, creating a luxurious comfortable place to stay. It is very quiet and relaxing which was prefect for us on our long drive south to Spain. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Sadly we did not have time to take breakfast and enjoy the peaceful terrace. We shall most definitely be returning again.

Just 500 metres from Collioure town centre and a 10-minute walk from the beach is Le Madeloc Hôtel & Spa. Great location, close walk from the train station, as well as the downtown area and beaches. We loved the breakfast option. The hot tub was great, with a good view. The pool said it was heated, but it was pretty chilly for our crew. We didn't end up spending much time in the pool, but did enjoy the hot tub. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
