Overlooking the sea in Nice, just 30 metres from the beach, Hotel Le Saint Paul features a large garden and an adjoining chapel. The view and the big room! Honestly, the photos did not do it justice.

Located in Cannes town centre, 500 metres from the Croisette and 400 metres from the train station is Staybridge Suites - Cannes Centre, an IHG Hotel. Everything was great from top to bottom - Value was great for the size of the room, i was alone but easily spacious enough for a couple/family. Breakfast was 7-11am which is perfect if you are an early riser or want to sleep in, and had good selection. Very near to the city center (<5 mins walking), especially if you're taking the train for day trips along the south coast like i did.

Located in Menton just a few steps away from the beach. This Art Deco style Hotel offers a floral garden, a sunny terrace, a bar and free Wifi. I came with a road bike, and I was able to quickly put my stuff in a storage area near the reception. (I took the tires off and put them in a bag. However, there was another person's bicycle, but it wasn't in a bag.) The receptionist and other staff at the hotel are very nice, and breakfast is also very nice. I had dinner at a nearby restaurant [la mandibule]. A cocktail called Mentoneze (local lemon sherbet and limoncello) It was the most delicious citrus dessert I've ever had in my life. I was very fortunate to be able to come to Mentone and stay at this hotel.

Located between Frejus and Saint Raphael, L’oasis is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and Port de Plaissance de Frejus. We stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed it so much that we returned but opted for the garden terrace room- which we highly recommend. The Oasis has a very unique vibe, ambience, smell and character. You’ll feel relaxed almost immediately. The breakfast is 9.50 per day and is a buffet breakfast including yoghurts, drinks, fruit, bread, cereal and pastries. The staff are very friendly and helpful- parking is free. They also provide beach equipment and other additional touches. A hidden gem. A tranquil escape.

Hotel Le Negresco, overlooks the beach and the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. Free Wifi access is provided and there is an on-site fitness centre. Amazing, beautiful atmosphere, lovely staff and beautiful location.

Located on the famous Boulevard La Croisette in Cannes, Hôtel Martinez - in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt is a 5-star hotel featuring a private beach, which is accessible for an extra charge. Excellent service from we arrived until we left. The rooms are very pleasant bright with an excellent bed mattress and duvet / pillows. The breakfast is one of the best fresh foods I’ve experienced. Superb!
