The Chateau is stunning, set in beautiful gardens well away from the road with off street parking. We were welcomed by Justine who showed us where we would breakfast as well as the beautiful lounge where we could make a tea or coffee. We had booked the Blue Room on the first floor which has a double aspect on the corner of the house. The bed was a super king and super comfortable. The rain shower was lovely as was the bathroom. The room has a desk and sofa which made it very comfortable. The toilet is separate- very handy. The Chateau is very quiet, we heard no noise from other rooms, so we slept very well. Breakfast was typically French with fresh baguette, pastries, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, eggs if you wanted and great coffee. A wonderful place which we highly recommend.

The facilities were comfortable, and parking was available on-site. We enjoyed a nice breakfast in the dining room. It’s a beautiful place to stay, and if we visit the area again, we will definitely stay at Le Bien-Venant.
