A wonderful place with wonderful hosts. The location and the building are certainly something special. The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets, and in the morning you eat in the big farm style kitchen with Susan cooking up a fantastic breakfast next to you. Unfortunately we arrived late and could not enjoy the evening meal, but I will certainly aim for it next time.

The breakfast was delicious and they offered plenty of options. It was only about a minute walk into the centre of Aviemore.

High Range Self-Catering Chalets are set within the beauty of Cairngorms National Park. Free private parking is possible on site, and free WiFi is accessible in some areas. Absolutely wonderful! We were only here for one night and during the offseason, but I could easily see staying here for a week and being completely comfortable. Highly recommended. Location was easy to find, reception staff were lovely, parking was easy. The room was well appointed and clean. We were just here for the night (as a convenient spot for a quick run up to visit the cairngorm reindeer herd), and did not spend time in the area (sadly), but I would love to come back for a longer stay.

It’s exactly as described, a nice pod to camp out. Nothing big, a big cramped for 4 but not a problem nor unexpected. We just stopped for the night. Kind host. Absolutely stunning area and vistas.
