Location was perfect walking distance to the village. Corrinne was absolutely lovely and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Full English breakfast was amazing

Stow Lodge was a Brilliant Find. Warm & Welcoming. Chris, the Owner, was remarkable with his level of hospitality and keen interest in making sure my time at their establishment was top notch. Located right in the heart of the town center. On-site Parking (free) and easy access. Breakfast was right on the mark. All in All, it exceeded expectations!

A Grade II Listed building, The Bird in Hand offers modern rooms in a traditional setting. The rooms have plasma-screen TVs and there is free Wi-Fi in the all areas. Gorgeous property, we loved the real fires and the lovely atmosphere. The staff were helpful, our room was a good size and bed comfy, lots of hot water. The food was excellent. We stayed for a weekend in November and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend the Inn.
