A traditional Cotswolds inn dating back to the 14th century, the Eight Bells in Chipping Campden has a selection of individually styled en suite guest rooms. My husband said he slept the best he has ever slept while traveling anywhere! The room, bedding and pillow were perfect for him. It was also wonderful to be steps away from great hiking in the Cotswolds!

With free Wi-Fi and free parking for up to 18 cars, this contemporary country-style house is situated in Bourton-on-the-Water – known as the “little Venice of the Cotswolds”. The breakfast buffet was superb. I didn't like the smell of the free range eggs nor the taste of the Portobello Mushrooms, but that's just my preference. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were made up everyday and coffee supplies replenished. It was very centrally located. The in house Italian food was excellent.

Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. Everything- very clean, comfortable, well appointed, well kitted out, cosy. Great breakfast. Super location.

A Grade II Listed building, The Bird in Hand offers modern rooms in a traditional setting. The rooms have plasma-screen TVs and there is free Wi-Fi in the all areas. The accommodations were wonderful. Staff was incredibly friendly and both meals we had in the restaurant on site were exceptional.

This charming half timber-framed, half Cotswold-stone hotel dates back to the 16th Century when it was a country retreat for the Abbotts of Pershore. Great 3 star accomodation. Comfy medium size room. Good shower. Comfy bed. Quiet and the most amazing breakfast - one of the best we have ever had and the breakfast room is really lovely plus an outside seating g area. Great on site parking and the hotel is in such a beautiful village. Great stay

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company! Friendly welcoming staff, great food (dinner and breakfast), clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend. We stayed overnight to break our journey.

The room was small but was absolutely lovely equipped with a fan, hairdryer, television, complementary soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in addition to a box with a wide selection of hot drinks, biscuits and even bottles of water. It made you feel comfortable and at home without needing to get up for drinks in the evening. The bed was comfortable and fresh with a good amount of lovely cushions and the room had an open, natural atmosphere with a gorgeous modern oak door - lockable for privacy and an exquisite sky light in the ensuite bathroom. The location situated us a 10-minute walk from Bourton-on-the-water, giving us space away from the hustle of tourism and surrounded by trees, donkeys, and goats. The breakfast was absolutely stunning with a large assortment of options on the breakfast menu with the offer of juices, hot drinks toasts, and much more to keep you full all day. The vegetarian full breakfast was a lovely surprise as it gave me another option alongside porridge, croissants, and cereal. Sunny Nest is honestly a hidden gem with a price that is well worth what you get, which makes it even better for people or students on a budget such as myself. Get yourself down there!!!
