Located in the heart of Athens, just 200 metres from Syntagma Square, the modern Electra Metropolis boasts a small, rooftop pool with waterfall effect, and a sun terrace with views over the city. The property is located is a beautiful location close to all the main attractions. The staff is professional and kind. The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooftop is beautiful, you could see the acropolis. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Breakfast was a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses, cakes and fruit, nuts and yoghurt. Lots of drink options. Also cooked eggs to order. Location was a half hour walk to Acropolis, lots of nice coffee shops and bars on the way.

Varaba Country House in Markopoulo provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. Was amazing to be in the countyside surrounded by the grape vines, fig and pistachio trees but the down side is that the house is only accessible by car or donkey. Otherwise the place and food were amazing. Definitely recommend, as long as you're not wanting to pop to the city centre! If you're not an animal lover this might not be for you, there are cats and dogs in the house!

Located in the picturesque area of Plaka, the 2-star rated Sweet Home Hotel is 400 metres from Syntagma Square and the metro station. It features elegant accommodation and a bar. Small hotel smack in the city center. The whole team was very welcoming and genuinely showed us that they cared that we had the best experience possible at the hotel. They were very kind and helpful. There was a very nice breakfast buffet which included some Greek specialties. The hotel is super well located, within easy walking distance for the Acropolis and major tourist attractions. The metro was 3 blocks away. There are a variety of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood

Small rooms were so well designed they felt comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety of sweet and savory, local and international items. The view from the roof was stunning! Loved it.

Close to the National Archaeological Museum, Dryades Hotel is situated in a quiet and relaxing spot near Strefi Hill, in the vibrant district of Exarchia, in Athens. I stayed at this hotel for only one night, but I really liked it. The hotel is located on the hill, away from the dirty and noisy district. The hotel is well-maintained, very clean, tidy and detail-oriented. The rooftop is the highlight, stunning view with Acropolis in the background. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. I will stay at this hotel again.
