Aristi Mountain Resort sits on the highest point of Aristi village, offering views over the Vikos Gorge and the Towers of Papigo. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with uninterrupted mountain views and a real sense of peace and escape. The rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable, the common areas inviting, and the food exceptional. Staff were welcoming, attentive and genuinely proud of the region, offering thoughtful recommendations that made the stay even more special.

Wonderful location, just below the mountain. Fresh and under the shade all the time. Room big and traditional fornitures. Great breakfast. I booked for one night and then extended for a other one with the owner. Everything perfect. The hike to the mountain starts from this village.

Ideal place to explore Zagoria. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We trully enjoyed our stay due to the kind service provided by the owners and a pleasant atmosphere of the place. It offers breakfasts and in the evening we could buy a meal in the restaurant after a full day of exploring.

The stone Avragonio is located 300 metres from Papigo Village centre. Built according to the local, traditional architecture, it features accommodation with fireplace and Tymfi Mountain views. Everything was perfect. This is the place to be in Papigko.

This was my first stay at Aithrio, and it can only be described as the perfect 3-day holiday. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.

Papigo Towers er byggt á hefðbundinn hátt og er staðsett í fallega þorpinu Mikro Papigko í Zagoria. Það samanstendur af 2 byggingum, þar af er önnur frá fyrri hluta 19. aldar. Anyone who does not enjoy their stay here is impossible to please. Everything was excellent. Kostas was an excellent host.

Papaevangelou Hotel er staðsett í útjaðri Megalo Papigo-þorpsins. Það er byggt á hefðbundinn hátt og býður upp á hlýlega innréttuð herbergi með viðargólfum og lofti. We came to do hiking tracks in the surrounding Zagora mountains. The hotel was a 5 star place to come back to. We really liked the place. The owner also helped us with transportation and food for the day even though we left every morning for an early start. Highly recommended

A wonderful homy place in the heart of Zagori. Eleni, Dimitra ang Yorgos are wonderful hosts and spared no effort to make us feel welcome and provide us with priceless tips and local knowledge.

Hotel Machalas er stór íbúðasamstæða. Það er staðsett í Kipoi-þorpinu í miðbæ Zagori. Byggingarlist samstæðunnar er hefðbundin og byggð á við og handsaumuðum steini. Beautiful location to stay at. Friendly host. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Good shower.

Xenonas Achnoulas er steinbyggt hótel sem er umkringt gróskumiklum garði og er staðsett í fallega þorpinu Ano Pedina. Það býður upp á herbergi í sveitalegum stíl með útsýni yfir fjallið Mitsikeli. Beautiful property with a restaurant attached - they have their own farm so everything is local (they even make their own feta) genuinely best food we had the entire month we’ve been in Greece, they definitely set a standard you can’t find elsewhere! The rooms are traditional but beautiful definitely reminded me of Romanian traditional decor and aesthetic. The water pressure was out of this world - better than what I had at home😅huge courtyard that has amazing wifi connection. Huge free parking lot right beside the hotel with trees shading your car - really hard to miss it. They also have a huge communal kitchen with free coffee you can make yourself (however they sell a really good coffee I recommend to buy instead) they have plates, cutlery, bowls, pots, pans, etc. we bought groceries to make breakfast / lunch and such so this was great! They’re son greeted us and was so nice showed us the room, told us they left water in the fridge for us, showed me the kitchen, how to use the keys, etc. Their two sons speak a good amount of English but the parents do not. However they are the nicest people ever! The mom would say good morning to us all the time, and the dad saw us leave and we gave him the keys, and shook our hands before waving us bye. We communicated the way we could :) lovely stay 1000% recommend!!
