Nice lobby, elevator, staff is welcoming and always ready to answer questions Our room was spacious, you can open the windows, we had a side view of the Onsen. Breakfast ok. Clean and quiet place. Beds are comfortable, everything works well, good value also.

Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. Our host was delightful. The private bath was wonderful and our breakfast, delicious!

Featuring a hot spring bath with views of the mountains, Chaharu is located a 2-minute walk from the Dogo Onsen Honkan Hot Springs Spa. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The night view from our room and from the outdoor bath was spectacular. We forgot two items at the hotel, and the staff looked diligently to find them and mail them to us. There were no non-smoking rooms to reserve, but the staff had made sure that there was no odor in our room. The shuttle service was exceptional.

Boasting a 390-year history, Funaya offers hot-spring baths, a beautiful Japanese garden and a sauna. We had the junior suite with an amazing view of the city and the Matsuyama Castle. Our room was top notch with living room, bar area and separate bedroom. We loved it! The staff was efficient, polite and very professional. the location was perfect, just a walk down the hill to the famous Dogo onsen shopping arcade and train to castle.
