Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. The hotel is located within walking distance to all attractions/restaurants within Kusatsu Onsen and was a great base for the stay. The onsens available at the hotel were also great and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The room was a great size, very comfortable and had a great view of town.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Everything! Wonderful staff, 4 private onsens, great products, free to borrow Yukatas, really cute breakfast and welcome snacks, big room(s), location is right in the middle by Yubatake, room was excellent and had private bathroom (but no shower, but that's by design in onsen towns).

Just a 3-minute walk from the famous Yubatake Hot Spring, Kane Midori offers massage services and its own hot-spring baths. The Japanese rooms have futon beds and a Western bathroom. Exceptional accommodation and service, spacious rooms with everything you need, an excellent onsen and amazing food.

Hotel Route-Inn Isesaki Inter is situated in Isesaki, 8 km from Caribbean Beach Kiryu. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Nice and clean. Seems like relatively new facilities.

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... The location is great, situated between the bus terminal and Yubatake, making it easy to visit Yubatake whenever we like. The room is appropriately sized for a family and offers good value for money. There is a private hot spring that you can use when the room is available; no advance booking is necessary.

Offering free WiFi, Ryokan Tamura offers accommodation in Kusatsu, 600 metres from Kusatsu Nettaiken and 2.1 km from Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort. I really loved the whole experience at Ryokan Tamura. I felt very relaxed and pampered since dinner and breakfast was served, and we loved using the onsen. We asked for vegan food, and they informed us that the broth may contain dashi, but for us that was ok. The food was delicious and we got to try some of the traditional Japanese cuisine consisting of mainly vegetables. There were men only and women only onsens, and two private onsens. The water was super warm and relaxing. The staff was also very welcoming and nice and spoke english.

Very kind staff, buffet was delicious and great value, 5 min walk to the main onsen downtown area, Japanese style room was spacious and quiet, onsen was great too.
