Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Hotel close to the station. Staff super kindly. Room very comfortable and organized. We loved ramen by night.

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. Good facilities, small store in the hostel for some food. Delivery of bento boxes for dinner was a good extra! Very nice private onsen!

Waqoo Shitaderamachi is situated in Tennoji, in Osaka. The accommodation is 500 metres from popular areas such as Tsutenkaku and Shinsekai. We loved it! The building is very nice, out of the caos, yet walking distance from the beating heart of Osaka. The accomodation offers an authentic japanese vibe, we had a great time there!

The location was perfect, right in Nara park. Facilities were perfect. The onsen was also great, I have tatoos and didn't have any problems

Newly opened in August 2016, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Ekimae offers accommodations with free WiFi. The hotel is directly connected to JR Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk away. Very nice room with big bed. Staff very friendly and helpful.

They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Everything was good and helpful
