Newly opened in August 2016, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Ekimae offers accommodations with free WiFi. The hotel is directly connected to JR Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk away. Super convenient location, you can reach the Kyoto Station via underground route in 3-5 minutes. The Haruka express train also can be reached easily, with lift and elevator you won’t have issues with heavy luggages. So many restaurants and shopping malls, you can find everything you need! We booked a room for 2 first, later we could pay a bit money to get a super executive room, very spacious!

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. One of our best stay in Japan. Location works for us, minutes of walk to the subway station and bus station depending on your go. Facilities are great, from lobby, onsen, to our room. Really enjoy our stay. Staffs are super helpful, fluent in multi-lingual and super helpful to foreign travellers like us throughout arranging our luggage delivery to the next hotel. I would come back for Mitsui!

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. It’s a traditional Japanese style hotel. We have tried Japanese breakfast at the hotel, and it’s nice. The staff is very welcoming. The location is also good. It’s like 15mins walk from the main train station.

Kyoto Century Hotel er í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Kyoto-samgöngustöðinni og býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og ókeypis nettengingu. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Very big rooms! The dinner buffet was really good!! It is not a regular buffet but kinda ‘high class buffet’. Very good! It was raining when we arrived, at the check-in the personnel began to dry off our wet luggage. Top service!

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. It was a really close to the metro, the service was the best we’ve ever received. It was personalized. The breakfast was also very good and different every day. The tatami mats were heated and the aircon for the room was controlled by us.

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. Excellent hotel in a quiet area, a bit far from the center. The staff is very helpful. I will definitely be back.
