They were exceptionally professional, kind, and proactive. The room was very comfortable, and the food was pretty good. The location is great, being in front of a small creek that has cherry trees that are fully blossomed, making it a perfect location for Sakura viewing without crowds. It's also 10 minutes by foot from Kyoto Station, and many of the bus lines that go to the most popular attractions.

Luck You Kyoto offers accommodation in Kyoto. Free luggage storage is available. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The vibes in this were immaculate. The floor had heating. The scenes were picturesque. There was an onsen. Staff were really nice and helpful. Close to the bus stop and a lot of restaurants in the area. Would absolutely recommend if you can pay the price!

Newly opened in August 2016, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Ekimae offers accommodations with free WiFi. The hotel is directly connected to JR Kyoto Station and a 4-minute walk away. This hotel is the best hotel I ever stay in Japan so far. Lobby is exclusive, Room is spacious with many kind amenities including for kids and not to mention of location right in front of Kyoto station and next to Yodobashi camera where you can find a lot of things there. Definitely this is worth to stay and spend money.

Open from April 2014, Hotel Grand Bach Kyoto Select offers modern accommodations only a 5-minute walk from Kawaramachi Train Station. This hotel is aesthetically beautiful. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Beds and linen were soft and comfortable. Multifunction shower was next level good!

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. The room was the best that I stayed in in Japan. The room was well sized, aesthetically pleasing with a Japanese feel, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was also set with drip coffee and a selection of teas. The Onsen, only for hotel guests, was also free and available anytime between 3pm and 9am. This was arguably the best part of my stay! The Onsen was always empty when I went (around 9pm) and I could sit and relax in the lounge area after my bath, which was wonderful! The hotel is also very central and surrounded by incredible restaurants.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. Very nice, comfortable accomodation, nice staff, location near the station but still wit touch of history. Amazing breakfast- I can highly recommended this accomodation for those who want stay in tradiotional ryocan, in the heart of the city, but still have modern comfort😉

Good option for longer stays too

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Amazing experience that will remain with us for a long time. Exceptionally friendly staff that were always happy to help and answer our questions 🖤. The kaiseki experience was just fantastic, with amazing food.
