It was our second time here, and everything was as perfect as I remembered it — exceptional food, warm service, the beautiful location next to a river and surrounded by mountains. If you are looking for some much-needed peace and quiet, this is very much worth the money.

Hotel Il Palazzo is located near the river, conveniently positioned between two stations, making it easy to get around. The exterior is very distinctive, while the interior feels modern and stylish, with bold use of sharp red and green that gives the hotel a strong visual identity. Our package included lounge access from 7:30 in the morning until 9:00 at night, which was a major highlight. The lounge offers both made-to-order dishes and a buffet area, featuring a mix of Japanese and Western (Italian-style) cuisine. The food was fresh, well presented, and refilled quickly. Desserts were particularly outstanding and easily one of the best parts of the dining experience. The staff were professional and welcoming, with both Japanese and Indian team members. Most communicated fluently in English, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room design is modern and comfortable, matching the hotel’s overall aesthetic. Housekeeping did an excellent job — the room was made up so thoroughly that it felt almost unused each time we returned.

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. This hotel is a historic establishment that has been around for decades. However, it has been well-maintained and preserved, making it a worthwhile place to visit.

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Very spacious, quiet, comfortable, convenient sightseeing

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Everything. The provided kaiseki for dinner and breakfast was amazing. The onsens to bath in were great for the mind and body. Compared to the the other Ryokan's, this place was far more affordable than most and didn't seem to lack anything the rest had. We loved our stay here.

Nasa prime location sa Yunohira Onsen district ng Yufu, ang Yunohira Kamiyanagiya ay matatagpuan 40 km mula sa Oita Bank Dome, 16 km mula sa Kinrinko Lake at 33 km mula sa Ōita Station. Such a wonderful experience!! It was my father's first time staying at ryokan and he absolutely loved it. The property was beautiful, staff incredibly sweet and friendly, and the meals delicious. The property has indoor and outdoor private onsens. Truly a relaxing experience being in an outdoor onsen, especially in the morning. There is a free coffee machine for espressos in the lobby available at certain hours. We booked with the breakfast and kaiseki dinner included. Everything was delicious and the staff are so on top of bringing out the next course. Lovely experience tucked away in a beautiful mountain setting. Highly recommend staying here!!

Matatagpuan sa Yufu, 48 km mula sa Oita Bank Dome, ang Yufuin Ryokan Yamanami ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may shared lounge, libreng private parking, at terrace. Very remote from where the tourists are - I had a car so it was easy to access and easy to drive my big luggage up the hill. Ryokan was very spacious and had all the amenities needed (toiletries, hakata, slippers, extra bedding if needed), and the private onsen was perfect for a dip. Cleanliness was up to standards. Service from the staff was great. I had both dinner kaiseki and breakfast in the main building (only a short 1-2 min walk from my ryokan with private onsen) and it was delicious!
