Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya is located a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and a 7-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. So nice and clean guesthouse, and really accommodating hosts. The room was spacious and beds were comfy. The breakfast was continental, but we still enjoyed it. There was a huge living room with calming atmosphere where one could relax, try kimonos, calligraphy or do origami. We would love to come back!

Service is a standout. From arrival, staff were welcoming, calm, and highly accommodating. Check in was handled in the lounge with refreshments while staff came to the guest, which immediately made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Throughout the stay, staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and willing to help. Both buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, supported by stunning lake views that elevate the entire dining experience. The onsen was exceptional and provided a peaceful space to unwind. Amenities were easy to access from the ground floor, adding to the overall convenience of the stay.
