We had a wonderful stay at Mampei Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a long and rich history. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Komiyama (if I got his name right), who went out of his way to assist us. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and it was special to stay at a place once frequented by John Lennon. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with a private onsen bath, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The scenic drive in and proximity to the old Ginza street added to the charm. A truly memorable and happy experience.

Amazing hosts - very polite, sociable, always welcoming and fully involved in making your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible! We've got a lot of useful advice especially regarding our further visit to Tokyo and shopping there! GoHemp is great! :) Great hotel location - everything is in 5min walk distance - shops, combini, train station, tasty restaurants! Everything was excellent - the room, the check-in process, all the facilities. We will absolutely stay at this place more and more times during our next visits.

Guest House Raicho býður upp á gistingu í Norikura Kogen í Chubu Sangaku-þjóðgarðinum. Mt. Helpful owner 🤩 Our car got stuck in the snow and the owner kindly helped us to move the car and luggages, even got himself injured 😣 Room was comfortable but the water heater was fault on one of the days.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. Location is superb. The shuttle was really helpful. The service is impeccable. Breakfast was amazing.

Nomanomori er í fjallaskálastíl og býður upp á aðlaðandi vestræn herbergi, í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Pilatus-skíðasvæðinu. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Very tranquil place to relax and enjoy the nature. The onsen and Harunire Terrace are not far from the B&B and easy to reach via walk or a short ride (the host could take you there in 5 minutes). The owners are kind and warm. Exceptional breakfast. Definitely will come back ^^

Oshi Ryokan er staðsett í Nagano, 20 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu, 22 km frá Nagano-stöðinni og 32 km frá dýragarðinum í Suzaka City. Amazing. Lovely owners. They treat you like a real guest. So loving and caring. Very good food, made with love and care. I'll miss that beautiful place forever.

Á Daymaruya Ryokan geta gestir farið í hveraböð og fengið sér hefðbundin gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis LAN-Interneti. It was calm and very traditional, exactly as we hoped. The staff was so precious and sweet we didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend. We got access to public onsens as well as a private one🌟

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. Great onsen area, very kind and helpful staff, excellent facilities and superb food!

Peanuts House er í aðeins 2 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Nozawa Onsen-skíðasvæðinu og í 1 mínútu göngufjarlægð frá Onsen Kenkokan Nozawa-hverunum. We walked 15 minutes to get to the slopes every morning, it’s right next to the bus stop and close enough to the heart of town without being disturbed by lots of noise or foot traffic. Very peaceful. The house itself is spacious so while it was shared bathrooms, I rarely saw anyone in there at the same time as me and I loved the onsen/hot tub in the basement for washing! It’s a great value for money and was much more comfortable and centrally located than I expected given the price and the shared bathroom. Kimmie, the owner, even made us apple pie one day. Highly recommend!
