Surrounded by lush greenery, Mampei Hotel offers free WiFi and free on-site private parking. JR Karuizawa Station is a 10-minute drive from this non-smoking accommodation. We had a wonderful stay at Mampei Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a long and rich history. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Komiyama (if I got his name right), who went out of his way to assist us. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and it was special to stay at a place once frequented by John Lennon. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with a private onsen bath, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The scenic drive in and proximity to the old Ginza street added to the charm. A truly memorable and happy experience.

Guest House Raicho býður upp á gistingu í Norikura Kogen í Chubu Sangaku-þjóðgarðinum. Mt. The two indoor onsens and the outdoor onsen were absolutely amazing. You simply reserve a time slot and can enjoy the onsens privately. Breakfast was simple yet delicious with fresh bagels and jam. Free coffee beans are available, so you can make your own coffee or tea anytime. The kitchen area is spacious, cozy, and very clean. The living room is also warm and inviting especially lovely when watching the fire and enjoying a conversation with good company. Also, the staff were wonderfully kind and attentive doing their best to accommodate our needs, helping us with transportation, and making sure we could enjoy the activities we were interested in. Definitely would love to come back!

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was very well-prepared in term of the quality and the presentations , also very delicious. The shuttle service is above my expectations.

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Very tranquil place to relax and enjoy the nature. The onsen and Harunire Terrace are not far from the B&B and easy to reach via walk or a short ride (the host could take you there in 5 minutes). The owners are kind and warm. Exceptional breakfast. Definitely will come back ^^

Oshi Ryokan er staðsett í Nagano, 20 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu, 22 km frá Nagano-stöðinni og 32 km frá dýragarðinum í Suzaka City. Amazing. Lovely owners. They treat you like a real guest. So loving and caring. Very good food, made with love and care. I'll miss that beautiful place forever.

This was simply a wonderful ryokan The owners are a lovely couple - very kind and responsive, and they speak English The owner met us at the train station, took us to the Monkey Park, and even showed us where to find some delicious ramen (which we really did enjoy) The ryokan itself has a great onsen - just as good as public ones They also provided us with yukata, which was a nice way to experience Japanese culture At the end of our stay, the owner kindly drove us back to the train station I would absolutely recommend this place- one of the best we’ve ever stayed at!

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. Great experience, amazing dinner, friendly staff, huge modern room, very nice external onsen on the terrace

Peanuts House er í aðeins 2 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Nozawa Onsen-skíðasvæðinu og í 1 mínútu göngufjarlægð frá Onsen Kenkokan Nozawa-hverunum. We walked 15 minutes to get to the slopes every morning, it’s right next to the bus stop and close enough to the heart of town without being disturbed by lots of noise or foot traffic. Very peaceful. The house itself is spacious so while it was shared bathrooms, I rarely saw anyone in there at the same time as me and I loved the onsen/hot tub in the basement for washing! It’s a great value for money and was much more comfortable and centrally located than I expected given the price and the shared bathroom. Kimmie, the owner, even made us apple pie one day. Highly recommend!
