The hotel owners were friendly and attentive. The owners went out of their way to make sure you had a good stay. What was advertised online about the hotel was what I experience and more. I enjoyed the history, authentic Norwegian ambiance (accommodation style, cuisine), the upmarket feel, warm friendly atmosphere and setting. Not to mention the view and watching salmon jumping in the river. I will definitely return and stay again and bring friends and family.

Good location near the city center. The hotel doesn't have their own parking but a public one is located just in 50m across the street (275NOK for the night). Tasty breakfasts, pleasant staff, clean and comfortabe room.
