Located in central Tromsø, this waterfront hotel overlooks the Tromsdalstinden Mountain. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in December and it was exceptional. Just what you need while traveling to experience winter wonderland in Tromso and see the northern lights. Hotel is located in the harbor which gives excess to the darker spots - perfect to watch the northern lights in the evening. We got our best shots 10 meters from the hotel - these are the pictures you can see under the comment. The food was very good too. I am usually picky about this and I was more than satisfied - fresh vegetables, enough protein, everything tastes good. The complimentary dinners are great. The hotel provides tea and coffee at any time of the day and it was a game changer in frosty weather. It is the first time I’ve enjoyed staying in the common room and drinking hot coffee even more than spending time in the room.
