Breakfast is okay (with vegetables and fruits). Excellent location for those looking for shopping and lots of pubs and restaurants on the street. This area is better than the old city and the port. A newer area is more modern and more sympathetic.

Hampton By Hilton Montevideo Carrasco is located in Montevideo, 2 km from Carrasco International Airport. We stayed here on our last night in Uruguay and wanted to be close to the airport. The hotel was lovely and the beds comfortable. I was surprised how quite the rooms were, especially being so close to the airport. The pool was nice.

The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive — they made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, spacious, and offered a beautiful view. The facilities are top-notch: modern gym, elegant lobby, and an excellent restaurant with delicious breakfast options. The location is ideal — safe, central, and connected to the shopping mall which made everything super convenient. It’s a true example of Hilton’s high standards.

Welcoming receptionists speak English. Luggage storage available. Perfect central location - close to the beach and all essentials. "Wild bakery and coffee shop" across the street is really great. Not much to say - we loved staying here. Looking forward to coming back both to Montevideo and Merit!

The city itself is a joy and the hotel added to the experience. It was very clean and welcoming.
