Experiencing a Ryokan was amazing and Onyado Yuinosho is the perfect place for it, the staff is incredibly nice and accomodating, the food is incredible, the rooms and facilities are so fancy and pretty and atmosphere is so relaxed and cozy! They give you all sorts of amenities, they have free ramen at night, coffee, yogurt drinks and they even leave local candy to try inside the room! They also have vending machines for soft drinks/coffee/tea and alcohol! The meals they serve are extremely tasty and fancy with beautiful window views of the mountains! The private onsen rooms are beatiful and relaxing! The two nights we spent there were the highlight of our trip! Absolutely must recommend this place if you plan to visit Shirakawa-go!

The staff is extremely polite, calm and knowledgeable. They are willing to help with everything. They know some English so nothing is a problem for foreigners. Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... Staff were very friendly and can speak English. Check in and check out was quick. Room was very spacious for a couple, definitely try on the Yukata that's also included in the room!

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The staff was very accommondating and provided free pick up from the station. Upon arrival, they showed us to our room, which was clean and had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. During the dinner, the staff made futon beds for us, which my family all loved to sleep on. The dinner and breakfast we served were fantactic in taste and appearance. The staff even introduced the food to us before we started.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The room was very spacious, the breakfast delicious, the onsen beautiful and the staff very welcoming! Loved it here!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. We went on our honeymoon for 1 night - it would be more! All of our expectations were exceeded. The room (we stayed in one of the villas) was impeccable, the service was perfect, and the food was wonderful — the kaiseki dinner is absolutely worth it, and the breakfast is very good as well. A truly memorable experience!
