Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Everything. The style of the hotel was awesome. The staff went above and beyond for us as a small family. The food was delicious.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. The staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel has a really nice feel to it.

The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa er með gufubað og heita laug, auk loftkældra gistirýma í Tsuyama, 200 metra frá Tsuyama Wonder-safninu. Beautiful! Nice room. Onsen was amazing. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast even better! Staff was exceptional.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The free drinks and ice cream on the rooftop bar was a nice touch. Great location. Easy walk from the ferry and to the sites of Myajima island.

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa er staðsett í Miyajima og býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. We feel like we got the best room in the entire place—it even had a small bar area and a cozy enclosed outdoor space. There were complimentary sweets and two types of tea (green and hojicha), both of which were absolutely delicious. The main tatami room with futons was spacious, and the futons themselves were incredibly comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom featured a large hinoki bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Breakfast was outstanding—probably the best we've had in Japan so far. For context, this is our third visit to Japan, and during this trip alone, we’ve stayed in five different hotels. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. When we needed to buy some medicine and found the local pharmacy already closed, the staff went above and beyond to help us. There’s a remarkable small-town warmth among the owners and staff—an atmosphere of mutual support that felt truly special.

Kansuitei Kozeniya er staðsett í 50 km fjarlægð frá Daijoji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými í Tottori með aðgangi að hverabaði. The hospitality was exceptional.

Suminoe Ryokan er staðsett í Onomichi, aðeins 25 km frá Oogamiyama Omoto-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.

Hagi No Yado Tomoe er staðsett í 8 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá JR Higashihagi-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á aldagamalt, ekta japanskt andrúmsloft. loved our stay here! the room was sooo spacious, more than enough room for 2 people. we really felt like we were having a true japanese ryokan experience. everything in the room, from the tatami to the bathroom was so clean and comfortable. the staff was very welcoming and they even came to pick us up from the train station! the front desk helped us with suggestions for different restaurants and called to make reservations for us, they were very accommodating. the onsen was sooo beautiful and really made our stay just perfect. the japanese breakfast was included and it was truly a work of art, every bite was delicious and a feast for the senses. we enjoyed their complimentary coffee while viewing the japanese gardens off the reception area, so relaxing. overall it was just wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything better. oh and the staff also took us back to the train station after we checked out! would definitely stay here again.
