Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Traditional ryokan with amazing views and super nice staff. Wonderful service! Perfect location - not directly next to the ferry pier, however, the ryokan’s shuttle is super convenient. We rented a bike from the ryokan to go explore early in the morning and it was the best thing we could have done! Highly recommended!!

The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa er með gufubað og heita laug, auk loftkældra gistirýma í Tsuyama, 200 metra frá Tsuyama Wonder-safninu. As expected from the Japanese service in ryokan, the comfort is exceptional. The staff were hospitable. The rooms were clean and functional. Breakfast had many dishes to choose from. My parents were very happy. Thank you!

Shokinkan er staðsett í Yasugi, 27 km frá Shinji-vatni, 29 km frá Lafcadio Hearn-minningarsafninu og 25 km frá Mizuki Shigeru-safninu. Shokinkan is a truly magical place operated by incredible people. Nestled in a gorgeous, ancient temple complex, the grounds are extremely fun to hike/explore during the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of the place through thoughtful signage and the wonderful staff. The food was absolutely delicious - we were eating a feast of unique foods specially prepared for us every evening and morning, which made the experience epic. Okami-san and everyone else here gregariously welcomed us with cups of beautiful matcha, and even shuttled us to and from Yasugi station and to the Adachi Museum of Art. I will never forget this place!

Kinsuikan er staðsett í Miyajima, skammt frá Fimm hæða pagóðunni og Itsukushima-helgiskríninu. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði og aðgang að jarðvarmabaði. everything was perfect, it was full experience. We loved the possibility to go out in our yukatas, there were outdoor traditional shoes provided and special socks in the room. The dinner felt like Michelin star restaurant and staff prepared our futons while we were eating. The view from the rooftop was the best and free snacks and drinks were provided. Ryokan hot bath is also very well maintained. Personnel was increadibly nice and helpful all the time. I would totally come back again!

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa er staðsett í Miyajima og býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. It was one of the best place I stayed in! The location is perfect, everyone working there were very helpfull, breakfast was delicious, everything was clean, and overall the experience of a more traditional room brought out Miyajima visit on a next level!

Kansuitei Kozeniya er staðsett í 50 km fjarlægð frá Daijoji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými í Tottori með aðgangi að hverabaði. Amazing onsen and super friendly and helpful staff

Suminoe Ryokan er staðsett í Onomichi, aðeins 25 km frá Oogamiyama Omoto-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.
