Facilities are clean, rooms are a very good size, beds are comfortable, and it is very central to Happon-One ski hill, restaurants, shops, and bus stop to Nagano and other ski hills. Has a microwave and mini-fridge in the communal area, little onsen to relax the muscles after the slopes, and even some homemade snacks to go with your tea or coffee.

The location of hotel is awesome which is near Happo Bus Terminal, some restaurants and two ski equipment rental stores. The Hotel and room are clean and cozy. There is a comfortable onsen within hotel that you can relax after ski. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended Happo Kan!

Tokiwa-Tei will be forever in our heart. The experience and the ambiance feels like a dream come true. Keika-san and her husband are really kind and hospitable. We will miss Hakuba and Tokiwa-Tei. 🥺

Very nice onsen after you spend a day on snow. breakfasts and dinners are delicate and delicious, and changed per day so you want have the same things twice. The staff are showing the warmest hospitality ever seen. They even open the onsen for us to take a bath before leaving after check out, and thoughtfully prepare the towel and everything for us. 11 out of 10, no questions about it.

Offering a bar and mountain view, Wakata Lodge Hakuba - 2025 Upgrade is set in Hakuba, 5.8 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 45 km from Nagano Station. the shuttle bus driver especially was amazing to us, very accomodating and took us to the places we needed to when we couldn't always get ubers! the property was very traditional and homey it was beautiful stay!

Set within 4.7 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 47 km of Nagano Station, 入山登 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Hakuba. A public bath is available for guests. Yuki was very service oriented. Excellent stay!

Situated in Hakuba, 7.8 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, 雪花菜山荘 has ski-to-door access, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The breakfast was so amazing and very convenient when trying to get on the slopes! The rooms were traditional Japanese rooms with lots of space and cozy mattresses. Great location, any ski resort you want to go to picks you up at the Happo One Station only a 7 minute walk away. Chika is the best, and we will be staying at her place every time we come to Hakuba!

Lodge Tsubaki er staðsett í Otari í Nagano-héraðinu, skammt frá Tsugaike Kogen-skíðasvæðinu, og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis einkabílastæði og aðgang að almenningsbaði. Lodge Tsubaki is the best ski lodge to stay in Tsugaike. I love the people who run this facility. The host was very kind, gentle, considerate, and accommodating. He is also very honest person. He went above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable in our stay and were well informed of all the update information about ski resort and weather conditions. He also procured lift tickets, equipment, ski school, and luggage forward information for us. The breakfasts and dinners were the highlights of our trip. Everything was freshly made and the menu varied from day to day so we thoroughly enjoy this glorious dining experience daily. The staffs did a wonderful job keeping the facility clean. They have a washer and dryer on site! All the guests are very respectful of this lodging experience. The facility is wonderful situated near the beginner chair lift and ski school. We felt so happy to be able to stay in Tsubaki.

Ryokan Mokuzin er staðsett í Hakuba, aðeins 37 km frá Nagano-stöðinni og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og ókeypis skutluþjónustu. I love staying at Ryokan Mokuzin so much that this is my second time here. Last time, I wished it were closer to town so I could try other restaurants. This year, I only stayed for three nights, which I regretted—nothing else in town compares to the food at Mokuzin. I also had to pay for transportation to the different mountains, whereas here there is a lovely shuttle service. I will definitely be back next year, and I won’t be staying closer to town.
