The location is great, being in front of a small creek that has cherry trees that are fully blossomed, making it a perfect location for Sakura viewing without crowds. It's also 10 minutes by foot from Kyoto Station, and many of the bus lines that go to the most popular attractions.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. Everything was top notch, from accommodation to the very friendly and helpful staff. Object has shuttle bus that will take you to JR Kameoka which is great way to get back to Kyoto. Much recommended

The head priest conducts short prayers at 6am that you can join, and it's a few minutes walk to cafes and good food options around Ine.
