The staff were accommodating and very kind, we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto.

The stay was very nice, the room was cozy and the opportunity to visit the onsen across the street was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and we had no problem communicating in English.

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Very helpful and friendly staff. Quite helpful with booking taxis and in recommending places of interest and shopping. They speak excellent English. Very clean facilities.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.

Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan offers a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kameoka, 13 km from Oyamazumi Shrine. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. Wonderful place, and people should visit once in their lifetime.

The ryokan serves a vegetarian and vegan breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. Absolutely amazing ryokan in the most beautiful village. Our best and most amazing stay in Japan. The dinner and breakfast were superb. The confort was out of this world and the host was so nice and attentive. Absolutely recommend!
