All rooms all soundproof and air-conditioned, and fitted with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an attached bathroom. Absolutely everything here is incredible. The dinner in particular is one of the best meals I've ever had in my life with super helpful waiters who will explain each meal as it comes. Front-of-house staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and will even send a shuttle bus out to collect you from the train station and bring you back after your stay has concluded. You're greeted with a warm tea and smiling faces. The room is beautiful, large and spotlessly clean. Private onsens are reasonably priced and very relaxing. Breakfast was also delicious and the nicest breakfast I had in my 3 week stay in Japan.

The hotel was beautiful and I enjoyed the four different onsens in there. A few of the onsens (indoor) were a little on the older side, but the outdoor rock pool was spectacular. The facilities were really great. Dinner was really high quality food, although I felt a bit rushed. The breakfast buffet was spectacular.

長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 14 km of Hikone Castle and 8.6 km of Maibara Station. This recently renovated ryokan is located 10 km from Green Park Santo and 27 km from Taga-taisha Shrine. The ryokan has family rooms. This was one of the best and aesthetically pleasing stays in my life up to this point. The tastefulness of the room aswell as the whole hotel was truly amazing. The minute I stepped in I knew I had to write something here. The staff also was immensly polite and friendly.

Located in Hikone, less than 1 km from Hikone Castle, Honmachi Juku has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The 2-star ryokan is 7.2 km from Maibara Station. The ryokan features family rooms. The staff went above & beyond to accommodate me. Can't rate this 180 year old property, that's been preserved & meticulously revamped into a delightful stay. 😀

Only a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station with the complimentary shuttle, hotel Yuzanso features Japanese-style rooms with a private open-air hot spring bath and spectacular views of Biwako Lake. The hotel also offers massage treatments and a sauna. JR Ogoto Onsen Station offers a direct transit in 20 minutes to Kyoto Station. The breakfast was very good, quite a variety. Tasty the Japanese way. The location is a bit far out but the train and their shuttle helped a lot. Place is nice and quiet to relax. As I am a Muslim I was happy to see that you have the Japan Halal certification so we feel confidant to come again and share news with family and friends. You also had souveniers but I had to scan one by one to see if it is halal.
