This is such a hidden gem! The hotel is gorgeous, within easy walking distance to all the touristy spots, and the owners were sooo nice!

Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

We had a wonderful experience at a traditional Japanese establishment. This place is very special, the food, the baths, the room and the attention to detail were all outstanding.

Chikusenso Onsen is a beautiful retreat where you find yourself surrounded by both nature and tranquility. All of the amenities are impeccable and it is nearly impossible to not be relaxed during your time there.

Matatagpuan sa Ishinomaki, 37 km mula sa Shiogama Shrine, ang Tabist Business Ryokan Duck Ishinomaki Hebita ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi at libreng private parking. This local ryokan has real character, decorated from walls to ceiling with colourful posters and various toys of Japan, from classic to manga. The manager couple are just as nice. She had written out a welcome with basic information in Spanish for me, as my reservation shows it as country of origin. The room is comfortable, complete with towel and pyjamas, plus a water kettle and cup with teabags. If you're on foot, it's 27 min to Ishinomaki station and 18 min to Haneda station- the latter gets you the Matsushima-Kaigan.
