The futon is heated and has a duvet that is like sleeping under a cloud. The view is beautiful especially at night. The breakfast is traditional Japanese and fantastic. The temple up the street is amazing and best of all it's never crowded. There are a couple of good restaurants a short walk away. And every night we used the bath which was so relaxing. We just loved the experience.

Everything exceptional, with big care for every single guest. One of my top rated places, where i stayed. I can just say - Thank you for all!

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It was a beautiful experience. The Japanese style breakfast was a first for me and it was different both days, so good! The room itself was so peaceful and i loved being able to control so many different lights to give it a different atmosphere. The onsen was a great addition that I looked forward to relaxing in every night after I got back from a long day!

Kasuga Hotel er í 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Kintetsu-Nara-lestarstöðinni, í 5 mínútna fjarlægð með leigubíl frá JR Nara-lestarstöðinni og í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Kofuku-ji-hofinu. Perfect location and still completely quiet and refined. The beds were unbelievably comfortable!

Nara Kasugaokuyama Tsukihitei er staðsett í Kasugayama Primeval-skóginum, sem er á heimsminjaskrá UNESCO. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the manager of the hotel and her assistant, and treated like kings throughout first showing us our rooms, and then when serving dinner in the private dinner room. If you like Kaiseki dinner, then you are in for a treat because the food is very good. They also offer vegetarian or Halal options which is excellent. The location is in the middle of a nice forest from where you can hike to the top and then get a nice view of Osaka, and it's an easy hike. We came a bit late to the hotel which unfortunately did not allow us to fully experience the Ryokan on the first day. If you come here, you can come early to Nara, leave your luggage in the lockers near the station (they are cheaper right outside than inside the station), and then walk around the deer park and to the temple (won't take more than 2 hours). Then have a meal, go to the Ryokan, take a walk around the forest, come back for a nice bath, then have your dinner, after which you can relax in your room. I feel this will give you the full experience.

Býður upp á útibað og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Ryokan Asukasou er staðsett við aðaljaðar Nara-garðsins og er nýlega uppgert ryokan-hótel í Nara, 1,8 km frá Nara-stöðinni. Staff was really kind and supportive. The facilities were very nice.
