Nag-aalok ang Karatsu Seaside Hotel ng accommodation sa Higashi Karatsu. Masisiyahan ang mga guest sa on-site restaurant. We were given a free upgrade to our room on arrival. The food (buffet) was very tasty. The spa area is large and it wasn't that busy, when we were there. Perfect to relax for a few days. Any time again.

We are seasoned ryokan customers, and have been to quite a few around Japan, and Shukubo Shingetsu is seriously one of the best. It's relatively new and unknown at this point, but definitely is a hidden gem. There are 3 units available for booking, and we booked one of the two that have two-people capacity. PROS: 1) The whole house has a lovely wood smell (I think it’s Japanese cedar, sugi). 2) All 3 of the units (we've asked to see them all) are beautiful, modern and very very comfortable. They're designed by a famous architecture firm in Tokyo. 3) It's one of a handful of ryokans in Arita, which makes it rare. 4) If you're a huge fan of pottery (which we are), you will LOVE the detials around the house. The umbrella stand, the overhead lamp shades, the vases around the house are all beautiful antique Japanese Aritaware. 5) The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The chef (Yasunori-san) is amazing, and that's compared to a lot of other much older and much more established ryokans. Try it, you absolutely have to try his food. He also uses leftover rice from the rice course to make extra riceballs for guests as a midnight snack, which is great. 6) Bed was firm and comfortable! 7) Private onsen in the room was great. 8) Snacks and drinks in the room are 100% free. 9) Netflix in the room! 10) The owners also own a beautiful antique pottery shop, which is also a must-visit. 11) Free parking! 12) The owner of the Ryokan is a lovely lady named Tomoko-san and speaks excellent English, so foreigners would feel very very welcome.

Matatagpuan sa Ureshino, 33 km mula sa Huis Ten Bosch, ang 奥武雄温泉 風の森 ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, terrace, at bar. I had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. The entire experience was beyond my expectations. The views were breathtaking—truly something out of a dream. The private onsen (hot spring) was incredible and so soothing, offering a level of peace and luxury I’ll never forget. The bathroom alone was to die for—elegant, spacious, and beautifully designed. Every detail of my stay was perfect and relaxing. I treated myself to this getaway as a personal gift, and I’m so grateful I did. Being able to experience such a serene and stunning place filled me with joy and deep appreciation. This was one of the most memorable and rejuvenating experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape. Thank you for making my stay so special!

Great coastal hotel with public and private onsen baths and very exquisite & delicious seafood set dinners in private dining areas. The breakfast set was also excellent. Very relaxing view of the fishermen and boats from the room. Excellent value and comfort for travelers seeking an out of the way location on the Ariake Sea coastline. Very friendly and helpful staff & hosts.

Matatagpuan sa Karatsu, 1 minutong lakad mula sa Nishinohama Beach, ang Mizuno Ryokan ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at terrace. It was a perfectly manicured property and every room offered a breathtaking ocean view. Their kaiseki dinner was delicious and their service was to die for. We told them that we’re celebrating our husbands’ big birthday there and we’re what they’d come up with. They offered them a lovely birthday cake with traditional Japanese celebration attire for them to try on! We loved their care and wonderful hospitality.
