Matatagpuan sa Takashima, ang Marumo Ryokan ay 46 km mula sa Sanzen-in Temple. Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

Biwako Hanakaido features outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, 3 dining options and rooms with a balcony and Lake Biwako views. It also has a garden and a sauna, while the lobby offers free WiFi. This place is a real gem for relaxation. Our room had a great view to the Biwa lake, comfy beds, and an open air bath. Our first dinner was a 10+ plate Kaiseki menu, and as our second dinner we chose crab shabu shabu, which was excellent as well. Tried public onsens (indoor and outdoor pools), private onsen, and massage. Wore Yukatas the whole time :) All public and private areas were exceptionally spacious. The staff were very welcoming. There was a shuttle to/from the nearest train station.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Dinner was amazing and the staff and service was so attentive. Anzono our waiter for our dinner service went above and beyond. When one of us had to leave dinner before dessert to make their massage appointment, he offered and prepared a plate of the full dessert on a tray to be taken to the room for enjoyment afterwards.

Kaakit-akit na lokasyon sa Ogoto Onsen district ng Otsu, ang Yumotokan ay matatagpuan 16 km mula sa Enryaku-ji Temple, 17 km mula sa Mount Hiei at 19 km mula sa Shoren-in Temple. Exceptional Spa experiences and amazing foods!

Boasting a hot spring bath, Dantokan Kikunoya is located a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station. Free pick-up from the station is available upon advance request. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Matatagpuan sa Nagahama, 14 km mula sa Hikone Castle, ang 長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, terrace, at bar. 01. A spotless room with a calming atmosphere, plush bedding, and stylish decor sets the tone for a wonderful stay. 02. Warm and attentive staff (Shimpei) who go above and beyond to make your stay special can make all the difference.

Matatagpuan sa Hikone, sa loob ng 2.7 km ng Hikone Castle at 6 km ng Maibara Station, ang KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may restaurant at libreng WiFi sa buong accommodation,... Amazing food, pleasant staff and great onsen. Frequent shuttles to and from train station was a plus.

Matatagpuan sa Hikone, wala pang 1 km mula sa Hikone Castle, ang Honmachi Juku ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at shared lounge. Very cosy and welcoming. The area is very nice with the temple just beside it and a small garden. The ryokan is beautiful. The owners are very friendly people.

Matatagpuan sa loob ng 1.7 km ng Hikone Castle at 8 km ng Taga-taisha Shrine, ang Kiyotaki Ryokan ay naglalaan ng mga kuwarto sa Hikone. Overall perfect stay. I like smaller places so instead of more days in Kyoto we went to Hikone. It was very much worth it and very pleasant stay in Ryokan and very good breakfast and dinner served by the host made it.
