Beautiful experience, I was welcomed warmly by a lady of the staff, who knew basic English, just like most of the stuff I've had the pleasure of meeting. On top of that, they were very friendly and ready to help.
There were many useful facilities in the common area I've used, like the fridge, the laundry machine and a scale.
I recommend this place, as it also has good access to the metro stations.

Showers were also good and spacious. The personnel were very kind and made me feel at my own home. It's a calm neighborhood, away from Shibuya craziness but also very close by transport thanks to JR Yamanote Line and Subway Asakusa Line in Gotanda Station. Friendly respectful staff. Onsen traditions in the city. Fabulous restaurant serving formal set breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tatami in all rooms. Zen vibes through the whole hotel. City views exceptional. Entrance and foyer reminiscent of mountain ryokans. Roof top onsen baths looking over the city below.
We loved our room! Authentic Japanese experience. Breakfast was delicious and wholesome. Futons were comfy. Room was always cleaned immaculately. The rooms have real tatami mat floors (not plastic like in other hotels). The onsen was nice and relaxing.
We stayed one night at this hotel in a family room due to an early morning flight. The family room was well set-up, with a tatami area where the futons were rolled up until we needed them. There are also 2 twin beds. The hotel is connected to Terminal 3 and a shopping center, so finding dinner was not a problem. The highlight was the Japanese onsen with 5 indoor pools and 3 outdoor pools. It was a nice soak before the long flight to finish our holiday.
Lovely ryokan in a great area of Tokyo. Warm-hearted welcome and lovely people. Delicious Japanese breakfast. Extremely comfortable beds! If you are looking for a Japanese style accommodation (ryokan with futon beds and tatami floored room) in Tokyo, Ito Ryokan is perfect!
Stylish and welcoming Ryokan, in a quieter part of Tokyo, yet 5 minutes walk to the metro stop. Rooms are tiny but well equipped, tatami mats with very comfortable futons. Shared bathrooms are good. Jacuzzi is a great bonus. And breakfast excellent, as is the coffee.
Very comfortable ryokan type features, tatami, shoe storage downstairs and then you walk around even barefoot. Nice rooms and excellent onsen with amazingly dark water. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. And the Sensoji temple is just around the corner.
That's a good place for those looking for a traditional japanese ryokan experience: sleeping on a futon in tatami room in a traditional house in wood. Well located, personnel were very friendly and I felt as if it was my home.
traditional Japanese ryokan. I really liked the room with futon and tatami, small but has got everything you need!
