We had a fantastic one night stay here. There was a very warm welcome from Aoife, David and Peter who couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. This secluded Irish family home is comfortable and delightfully furnished with art on the walls, soft couches, curios and ever so comfy beds. We were given a glorious full Irish breakfast outside in the sunshine. We were also given fresh pastries and fruit with yoghurt all beautifully presented. Our only regret is that we were only staying for one night. Thank you so much everyone at Nordav, we will return.

The location was excellent for exploring West Cork. The facilities were brilliant especially Spotify on Alexa! The hosts Therese and Johnny were very welcoming and couldn’t do more for us.

Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. Would recommend anyone to go and spend some time there.

I was there to attend a wedding.
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Great town with lots of pride and several fun cultural experiences. The Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitors Center was great. The Clonakilty Distillery is a great tour and tasting experience. The downtown is cute and walkable. The people are kind and it's central to many great communities nearby.

Fab little town, everything is so close together.
Fab little town, everything is so close together. Really wished we'd stayed longer & are already planning a return in the Summer. Didn't eat in any of the restaurants as we only ate in the hotel but the menus of many of the eateries looked great!

Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. If you get the weather there is no place to beat this part of Ireland.

Fun, friendly town, with lots of cute pubs and really good restaurants.
Great taxi service, Nial Johnson has electric luxury cars for regular price, really fun. Dinner at Camus with guest chef, Caitlin Ruth was amazing.
You don't need a car, bus goes all the way to cork and past Skibbereen.
Superb location. Literally 6m from the ocean at a beautiful beach. Very close to Clonakilty town (5km exactly). Went running there twice and it was very doable, no footpath for the first 3km notwithstanding, traffic was quiet on the route and drivers were patient. People were friendly. Hotel has great amenities on hand. Value for money was tremendous and the place exceeded expectations for sure.
As a first time visitor, it was a delight to find the hotel after a day rambling around West Cork. From the lovely receptionists to greet us, to discovering the beautiful gardens and then to enjoying the high quality food, it was first class all the way . One of the best hotels I have stayed in, either in Ireland or abroad.
Ardnavaha House is an excellent property located in beautiful countryside outside of Clonakilty. Our apartment was very good with all expected facilities, which was much appreciated. Location was excellent to access Kinsale and surrounding area, with great beach walks around Clonakilty. Gerard and Ann were great hosts.
Old world hotel with modern bedrooms. Lots of areas for relaxing with a book. Open fires. A virtual museum with the information and historical photos.and all this in the centre of town .
Location next to a cinema is a great attraction and is only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food.
