I have fallen in love with this beautiful area of Wales.
I have fallen in love with this beautiful area of Wales. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching the tide go out. The high street had everything you could wish for, with lots of independent shops and an M&S! It is also very dog-friendly and therefore a delightful place for a weekend getaway or even a week, with your pooch!

Most liked was easy/quick beach access, very clear...
Most liked was easy/quick beach access, very clear instructions for check in from host. Least liked was the amount of traffic lights on the shorefront - nothing to do with the accommodation which was excellent in every way - just needed to allow extra time when driving anywhere. Everywhere we went was family/kid friendly, and everyone was super friendly and nice We’ll definitely be back, and for longer. Plantasia, the tropical animal indoor zoo is fantastic, and staff super helpful and friendly. Loads of the big brand supermarkets within easy reach for self catering accommodation. Long drive (from Surrey), so would recommend a rest stop at services/Bristol on travel there and back

Lots to see and do on foot. Dogs are out in abundance which is lovely to see and they are welcome in all establishments.

It was just an amazing experience.
It was just an amazing experience. The area are buzzing and there were so much fantastic places to eat. The beaches were amazing and one need time to visit them all. For us it was also close to so many Castles to visit and see. And if you like your meat, then this is the place to go. The Welsch lamb and specifically the Welsch Salt Marsh lamb is the best.

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding...
We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding and having travelled from Kent decided to stay for a few days and explore. Overall the weather was kind to us, just Sunday with rain. We took ourselves off to Rhossili Bay which was beautiful and because I have some disabilities it had a reasonably flat path that you could walk along to see the beach and the Worms Head. The main difficulty we had was using the car park ticket machines! You needed a degree to understand them but luckily, a local resident helped us and we in turn was then able to help others in the same plight. A lovely long weekend.
Absolutely lovely hotel room, overlooking Swansea Bay.
Room was spacious, spotlessly clean.
Sliding doors opened onto a small balcony/terrace area.( too wet to use during our stay)
Lovely white linens, big bathsheets.
Comfort big bed. Block out curtains.
Good breakfast downstairs. We also had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant downstairs.
It was a wet day and evening so there was no outside drinkers/socialising or noise to bother us.
Pay and display parking, at a good rate, was very close.
This apartment is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. So good to have all the facilities:- washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, drying rack and well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent with lots of great places to eat, drink and shop only minutes away. The Mumbles is a great place from which to explore south Wales and this apartment was a haven to return to each day. Management team were easy to contact, quick to reply and offered helpful info.
The Coast House is a beautiful B&B right in front of the sea. The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. We had several choices of breakfast (including vegetarian and vegan options), and it was delicious. The self-check in was very easy to do, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend!!
This is a lovely, spacious self contained apartment with fabulous vintage furniture and accessories to add a fun and original element. Situated above a fantastic traditional pub with lovely views of Swansea Bay. Property owners were lovely and very welcoming.
Great location - opposite Swansea/mumbles bay - pubs/restaurants and prom to walk along and enjoy the evening sun. Great spot to explore the lush Gower beaches.
Shower was wet, room clean and breakfast really tasty.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The house was absolutely ideal for what we were looking for. It has great parking, comfy beds and a lovely hot tub!
It was easily within walking distance of some lovely places to eat and the mumbles pier.
Stewart the host was so helpful!
I loved the fact that I could stay in a hotel with my dog. My room was a generous size, with wall TV and a lovely comfy double bed. The fact that there was a sea view was an added bonus! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Quaint cottage with interesting history and wonderful setting. Up-the-hill patio (33 steps) has a great view of Swansea Bay. Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent location just up from the sea front. Easy walk to many restaurants.
It’s a really spacious suite with a large living area that was the perfect place to stay cozy and warm from the driving wind and rain. Great location for exploring the Gower and accessing restaurants and sites in the Mumbles.
Great location with spectacular view of Swansea Bay. Promenade and coastal path on doorstep. Local public transport into Swansea and along the coast to the Gower peninsular (ANOB). Plenty of places to eat and drink.
The cottage was as expected and gave us a warm and comfortable stay. The view was lovely, up above the Mumbles village, where we could acquire anything we needed. We would come and stay again. Many thanks
Everything was lovely. So clean and comfortable. Brilliant location and great breakfast. Walk in to the Mumbles was about 10 minutes and parking was 1 minute away on the hotel car park across the road
great guesthouse to explore The Gower from. lovely comfortable room; fab breakfast; good parking across the road; quiet place but handy to walk into The Mumbles. Clean & modern bathroom; friendly owner.
