The house is beautiful and in a lovely location. Jack - the owner - and Holly were fantastic. The bar with its amazing selection of whiskeys is superb and we enjoyed drinks there both evening. We ate there on our first night - great value for money. Breakfasts are good too. We ate in Pitlochry the second night and Jack dropped us down. We had such a great time we are about to book for early next year.

The performances at the Festival Theatre are always superb, and you can see half a dozen different shows in a week. Although we go specially for the Theatre, there are many attractive places to visit nearby, including fabulous shopping at House of Bruar, great waterfalls, sites of historic interest such as the soldier's leap and the castle at Blair Atholl, and there are many excellent places to eat. We particularly like the Plaice to Be for a cheap and cheerful meal.

Pitlochry is a busy little town in high season but within minutes you can be walking in the most beautiful Highland scenery enjoying the natural landscape. There are many good places to eat in the town within easy walking distance of most accommodation. The theatre has a summer season in which it is possible to see up to 6 different shows in 4 days performed by an excellent cast.

Some interesting and high quality shops; dam with visitor centre and fish ladder are worth the walk for views and information about renewable energy; plenty of eating places (eg Victorias), good parking off the high street. Local distillery. Clase to Blair Atholl, Killiekrankie; House of Bruar
Everything was perfect. A great hotel with everything we needed, ran by lovely, friendly people who were very helpful.
There was a path in the garden that led down to the back of the main street, so it was ideally located.
The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the bathroom was clean with toiletries provided.
There was an excellent choice for breakfast.
I will be returning next time we come to Pitlochry.
The hotel manager/barman was brilliant, lovely man who couldn't do enough for us. We had a few drinks and a sing song in the hotel bar with a couple local regulars. Well placed for travel ito Pitlochry and Dunkeld.
Room was immaculately clean, beds very comfortable, you can see the effort that is being put into the renovation. The little tearoom attached to the hotel made a lovely breakfast.
Excellent family owned hotel. The restaurant deserves a 5 star rating and the bonus was the view of the beautiful gardens from this room. The staff could not have been more helpful. We look forward to a return visit and can highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Pitlochry.
Excellent hotel grate location good atmosphere but though it was a bit expensive considering you can get a 4 or 5 star hotel with leisure facilities for cheaper
