Molde is at the western coast of Norway.

Molde is at the western coast of Norway. There is plenty of rainy weather, but when the sun shines, there is hardly a better place to visit. The stunning beauty of the mountains across the fiord is absolutely magnificent. There are nice hotels, but the prices are quite high to be a city of the size of less than 30K citizens. Maybe the cost-level reflects the history of tourism when the royal families from different nations of Europe frequented this part of Norway. You will find friendly staff at all places, but you could also pop into those who might take you as a visitor for granted. Maybe if you smile, you could get somebody smiling back to you.

    A beautiful city in Norway.

A beautiful city in Norway. We drove around all the small towns and did the 'James Bond' spectacular Atlantic Road drive. It was worth driving from Bergen and taking magnificent pictures along the way.

I made use of the local bus services to view the local countryside and visit Kristiansund(disappointing,in my opinion),Bud,a fishing village with a very impressive coastal fort and historical museum dealing with Word War ll and the Atlantic Road, linking the islets between Bud and Kristiansund. Molde itself is an extremely pleasant little town, visited by cruise liners and ferries linking the fjord transport system.Great local football team with a stadium at the side of the main street and a couple of minutes from the hotel! No disturbance on match night I was there. All shops seem to be closed all day Sunday, including coffee shops.

Amazing breakfast (Also the breakfast cooks walked out several times and checked if everything is ok and helped people if they looked like searching for anything) and view (if you have a room towards the water). staff at check-in were super friendly. we called in before and asked for a baby bed, and they provided one already mounted and ready in the room. the super friendly staff at check-in surprised our baby with a little toy animal, that was sweet! room and whole hotel was very clean.

A welcoming lovely private home and very kind hosts who can speak English. Very quiet place and neighbourhood by the city centre. Cheap prices for Norway. Everything was clean and well maintained. Fantastic views over the fjord and mountains. Lots of green gardens and nature around. Supermarkets 5 minutes away. And much more for those who have the time to explore the city and the region. I definitely recommend this place.

we were upgraded to a living room, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom so convenient on first floor next to restaurant. It had to patios and wrap around windows. The shower though small was mighty with fabulous hot water and a lot of pressure. the beds were comfy as were the pillows. There was no a/c but the windows made up for that. Restaurant Hav was sensational. The car chargers were very convenient.

Supreme hospitality by Adam who is really helpful and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast options at the place are exceptional and recommended, served in the beautiful dining room with a smile and extra thought. Adam was great in accommodating dietary restrictions and other needs without sacrificing quality. The cabin was clean and well equipped with WiFi, a fridge, and dinnerware.

Apart from the issue with the curtains, our room was really lovely. The bed was super comfortable and there were nice touches like big slumber pillows, a woolen rug and a beautiful floor rug. The hotel overall is clean and modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food at breakfast and at dinner was very good.I would definitely stay here again.

Close to the bus station and the ferry ports. I was able to leave my luggage till it was time for the ferry. Took the bus to Kristiansund for the day. No breakfast provided but there was a communal kitchen with a fridge, tea and coffee available. Bakery over the road for breakfasts. Restaurant down stairs plenty in the area.

Room was good size and comfortable (has all the facilities including an iron and board). Location is next to the port. Hotel has their own restaurant downstairs, which is quite decent. Breakfast is served in before mentioned restaurant and was very good, with a lot of options.

Marvellous view, it is an extraordinary location with a splendid view. This was also the cheapest hotel during our journey in Norway which is quite strange for this top hotel. We arrived on Saturday and left on sunday, parking was free. Nice room, splendid beds.
