Baiona is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever experienced. Northern Spain as a whole is a delight but Baiona is absolutely lovely and is a good base for accessing other parts of the north of the country. It is also located on the Camino so is a great base for walkers. The walking in this particular area is flat so is accessible to all. Plenty of excellent eateries serving a wide range of dishes but specialising in fish/shellfish dishes and tapas. Foodies will not be disappointed! Baiona is easy walking, a delight for the eyes and the senses. The walk around the coastal path that takes you around the base of the Parador is superb with superb views of the Cies islands. What a stunning area. Do visit if you can, you will not be disappointed! We were touring and spent four nights there... it was not long enough. We very rarely visit the same place twice... I would go back there tomorrow!!

Nice town.
Nice town. The Spanish stick to the legend that America was "discovered" other than invaded and robbed, but that's just the Spanish "interpretation" of Columbus's journey. Visit the castle. Eat the local sea food.

Good facilities in the town and lots to do in the surrounding area. Would recommend hiring bikes from La Pedaleria - excellent bikes and very good value and lovely to ride along the flat cycle route stopping off at the beautiful beaches. Santiago is beautiful and well worth visiting for the day. Also beautiful mountains and we found some lovely mountain pools to swim in.

The Virxe da Rocha and the views from there are a must!
The Virxe da Rocha and the views from there are a must! The Fortaleza and the route are great, and so is the Castle! You can also go for a walk to the riverfront and enjoy the sea breeze and a fantastic view of the sea. The old city has very nice bars and restaurants, although barely any vegetarian options! If the weather is nice there are many nice beaches around, but if it isn't you can still stroll around and have fun at the bars and restaurants!
Incredibly cozy and ambiental accommodation on the Camino route. The location is perfect, close by is the city center, some bars and good local restaurants. Next to the hotel is a clean sandy beach.
The woman and other people working here are so friendly and they speak English!
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is homemade and delicious.
For sure we would like to come back!
Cozy location, with very nice persons making us feeling very welcome 🙂
As we stayed for running the “VigBay” half marathon, this hotel was located a few meters from the finish line (location was a plus)
Hotel personnel was (again) so nice that allowed us later check-in so that we could take a shower after the run
this is a really lovely pension that is very close to the centre of the old town of Baiona. the staff are very attentive and helpful. we left our bags there hours before we were due to book in. the place is very clean and comfortable. the breakfast is really good value for the extra 7euro a person.
Beautiful little apartment perfect for the 3 of us. Lovely terrace with nice view of Baiona. The host was very attentive. She was so sweet and arranged a taxi for us because of our limited Spanish and non-existent Galician. I would absolutely stay here again! Clean. Tasteful. Friendly host.
We stayed at this hotel during our Pilgrimage walk and it was very conveniently located in a quieter part of the town and right on the rout. Our Host Robert went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It a really nice place for a quiet rest.
It was a wonderful house very well situated for exploring Baiona Centre or traveling to one of the easy reach bays.
The house is beautifully done. Exceptionally clean and all mid cons. Easily one of the nicest houses I've ever stated in.
Just perfect. Baiona what a great place!
We were biking the Camino de Santiago from Porto. Baiona was easily our favorite town/city along the way. The apartment was large for the two of us and we loved the central location and availability of laundry facilities and restaurants.
The hotel cais is directly opposite the ferry port so perfectly located for our trip to the islas cies. It's also seconds away from some fantastic bars and restaurants and a couple of minutes walk to the nearest beach.
The man at the reception was super lovely (I’m sorry I forgot your name) and allowed us to park our bikes in private hotel space.
The beds were very comfy, the Mini bar was free and the view to the harbour gorgeous.
It is located at the center of city Baiona. Also there are many shops and restaurants around it. The room is big enough and clean with many towers.
Next time, if I traveled around there, I would book the same hotel.
The views are amazing. There is a nice walkway right outside the hotel, and there is another walkway near the water. My room was huge with 2 windows, both with views of the water…. I was very comfortable there.
The location is at the city center and it was easy to walk around and explore Baiona. The beds are clean and comfortable. The room had water, coffee and tea making facilities. The staff were very helpful.
A beautiful apartment in a great location next to the Camino in Baiona.
Comfortable beds great shower as well as an extremely well equipped kitchen and wonderful lounge. Would highly recommended.
The hotel staff and the location.
Quite place. Many pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela stay there. Breakfast Continental type, hearty, enough for everybody
