Good location breakfast was ok. Parking was top because the place was busy and you have to pay to park elsewhere

The exceptional cleanliness of the hotel and the covered heated pool; the friendliness of the staff and the food served at breakfast and dinner which was first-class. The location was perfect for us and our golden retriever couldn't believe his luck once he discovered that the Atlantic was just a few hundred yards away through a delightful pine forest.

Being selfish, I do not want to recommend Noirmoutier-en-l'Ile to others!
The locals were unusually welcoming (a change from the South), the views around the island were panoramic and the food and drink left nothing to be desired. The island was free of litter and the pride which the locals take in it was obvious. It felt very secure.
With a large dog a car was necessary, otherwise, everyone appeared to swap their cars for bicycles which were in plentiful supply on their arrival. The land being mostly flat, bicycling was the way to go for the young and old.

The stay at this hotel was all we expected and more, the room was spacious and clean with all the amenities that we have come to expect, we had clean towels after the first day, unheard of in some. The staff were extremely helpful in every way possible and the food was absolutely gorgeous, the new chef was a master of his craft. The swimming pool was at a perfect temperature and spotlessly clean with great changing facilities. All in all we loved our stay at the Hotel St Paul and we will be returning soon. Thank you all for making our stay perfect.

For it was unexpected.
For it was unexpected. Great contrast between one end of the island to the other. Splendid castle, and church. lots interesting restaurants. At right time of year imagine the bird life must be stunning. The causeway passable at low tide was quite a sight, we didn't dare to do it.

Just stayed on route to further north. If you're from Australia you don't really need to go anywhere else for beachside stays. There are some nice walking trails through forest and the ambience is nice. More a place for French tourists.

It was a long way to get there, Very pleasant once there, very biciycle friendly. But if you need a car, parking very difficult. Had to go out into country to find restaurant with parking.
Struggled to find any convenient access to beaches?

Property is a gem and its owners Rafael and Diane with their skills, international experience and genuine warmth are the gift that keeps on giving. Located in a premier spot and one feels a part of the local neighborhood. Thoughtfully planned to cater to a range of guests and creatively designed hotel. Our bed produced high-quality sleep and since the co-owner is a chef, the kitchen equipment was complete. Housekeeping was good and we felt welcomed! Had one of my loveliest and most delicious birthday dinners thanks to Chef Rafael and Diane.
Great location to access restaurants, shops, salt beds (Hippobus tour) & the chateau (directly opposite the hotel).
Good access along pedestrian/ cycle path to the nearest beach (Plage des Sableaux)- very much a cycle friendly area.
Pool and terrace area is clean and there is a small bar area- it is a welcome addition to the central courtyard area- rooms look out onto the pool. The pool is enclosed by glass 'fencing' and only accessed via 'kid lock' gates.
Nice hotel, superb location, just 5 mins walk through a wooded lane to the beach. Super helpful staff. They went the extra mile and more to help with transport as we had not hired a car (our fault - you really need a car here). Buffet breakfast was excellent, and a lovely tree-shaded patio at the back of the hotel to sit and enjoy it. The pool is superb.
So 5* for everything really. We will definitely stay there again when we next go to Noirmoutier.
The owners Diane and Raph are fantastic and a delight to meet. The hostel was spotless and the location is ideal, just moments from where the bus will drop you off and right in the middle of all the action while remaining peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this hostel and the sister hotel 'The Corner' which features a heavenly little garden and the most beautiful interior.
Location - 10 mins from the port & the beach.
Ideal family venue - more a home than a holiday let.
Good restaurants / bars nearby.
Lovely beaches (dogs allowed anytime outside high season (Sept - Apr??) & before 7:00am & after 21:00pm in high season) - check accurate!
Enclosed garden ideal for kids & pets.
Dog friendly.
Friendly host who spoke some English.
This is an absolute gem of a hotel, everyone who works there seems to care about what they are doing and the attention to detail and customer care is exemplary. We especially liked the 45 minutes private swim allowed in the indoor pool!
The hotel breakfast was brilliant as was the hotel restaurant. We sat outside in the back garden in the evening and the food was superb.
The hotel is 6 min walk from the beach where there also are several restaurants.
The Hotel is a few minutes walk from the Castle. I had to have help to find it. The actual hotel is nice: good size room, comfortable bed. Good shower/good WiFi/Good storage/Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Fabulous and unique hotel. Great staff - professional, relaxed, helpful and welcoming. There was nothing to dislike and I hope to return. It was the treat part of a trip to France and I loved it
Helpful staff, clean and comfortable accommodation,. Staff compensated for lack of restaurant by suggesting and booking restaurants. A very enjoyable stay.
