A nice friendly village directly on the lake.
A nice friendly village directly on the lake. Superb local wines, which can be bought at the "Winzerverein" . In summer it is sometimes a bit busy, but there are many activities. In winter Hagnau is very quiet (which we like). Most restaurants are then closed. But if you like walking, walk to Meersburg (good Italian restaurant on the seafront) or to Immenstaad (restaurant Heinzler). If you stay in an apartment buy the superb lake fish (Felchen, Hecht, Zander) from the local fishermen (e.g. Waldvogel) and treat yourself to some of the best freshwater fish I know. If you like hiking and the very quiet part of the year February is a really nice period. Anaway Hagnau is always a worth a visit.ElmarNetherlands

My room was great, quiet and I had everything i needed. The coffee machine was especially appreciated. Petra was superb and communication concerning check in was just excellent.
