Quirky independent hotel … very welcoming. Arrived in a group of 3 soaked through with our bikes. Staff came out to help us. Room for 3 fab. Comfortable very quiet - lovely breakfast including home made muesli. Had trust bar lots of board games. Highly recommend.

Excellent location for birding (we spotted a kestrel from the bedroom window and could watch goldfinches from the breakfast table; the wetlands was two minutes away on foot), the breakfast was nice and fresh. The staff were friendly. It was nice to have a coffee machine and water kettle in the room! Very quiet in the back room.
