Great location for walks but it’s SO quiet in the evenings! Not much option for good food except greasy ‘and chips’ places. Next time would stay somewhere within driving distance of the Brecon National Park. Expected Brecon to be at the hub of things but wasn’t. Saying that it’s a pretty centre.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Lovey walks and nice selection of small shops offering everything you might want, nice clothes shops great hairdresser

You have to get a cab and that was almost impossible, they really need to improve transport links, I had to book a cab from abergavenny which cost a small fortune just to be able to catch train home. The scenery was stunning and the children loved playing in the field with the dog. The owners were really friendly and helpful with local information. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our 11 and 9 year olds. We will definitely be returning!
