Very good bed and breakfast.
Very nice owners and staff, and very helpful.
Rooms clean and warm etc.
One slight snag was that I shared the bathroom and toilet with another guest.

Great location for walks but it’s SO quiet in the evenings! Not much option for good food except greasy ‘and chips’ places.
Next time would stay somewhere within driving distance of the Brecon National Park. Expected Brecon to be at the hub of things but wasn’t. Saying that it’s a pretty centre.

Lovely picturesque town, plenty of shops etc
Down side absolutely shockingly no transport!!!
You have to get a cab and that was almost impossible, they really need to improve transport links, I had to book a cab from abergavenny which cost a small fortune just to be able to catch train home.
It's better if you drive

From the town with independent shops to the breathtaking walks this is a lovely place to spend some time to take in the Welsh scenery. There is plenty of parking and places to stay and prices are reasonable. The museums and community centres are not to be missed.

Our visit to Brecon was to meet friends and celebrate a milestone birthday. We had a fantastic bit short trip and regretted not having more time to explore the town more as well as the local countryside.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay here so we could explore the brecon beacons. Lovely accommodation. Very comfortable and hosts Mandy and David are lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was very yummy. We stayed in a family room. Very big with lots of storage and beds very comfortable.
Thank you for your hospitality guys 😊, relaxed and welcoming accommodation.
Location is a central to the popular walks and attractions. A 10 min walk into brecon town.
We had a fantastic long weekend stay at Vale Farm. The location was perfect - about 10 mins from Brecon and within east reach of the Beacons. The scenery was stunning and the children loved playing in the field with the dog. The owners were really friendly and helpful with local information. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our 11 and 9 year olds. We will definitely be returning!
Staff were really friendly and approachable. The location and parking is right in the heart of Brecon town centre with private parking which is excellent. The facilities for the en suite which is definitely the way to go were excellent and the bed was really comfy.
The bar had a modest but good stock of ales and warm pork scratchings from a dispenser which should be a standard for all pubs and bars to have.
Bed was very comfortable, room was really large and spacious, and had everything we needed. Wi-Fi was fast. Coffee and tea outside on the landing was a nice touch, as were the complimentary toiletries provided. Shower was hot and powerful. Lodge was very warm and cosy. Parking was really easy, and good location to be able to walk into Brecon town centre.
Everything, Rachel and Sid are most welcoming. The facilities are second to none (some hotels don’t offer that kind nod level) rooms are spacious and super comfortable. Breakfast is to order and very tasty. Location is perfect for Brecon beacon national park and surrounding area! Can not recommend highly enough. Definitely great value for money.
It was a lovely quaint but spacious property with everything we needed for a 6 night stay. Nice decor and all mod cons, good WiFi, great garden to relax in. Situated in a convenient location in which to explore the Brecon Beacons. Excellent contact from the owner throughout. Would recommend.
A friendly reception by the manager with good banter. Hotel right in the centre of Brecon with parking available on the doorstep, although parking wardens meant we had to move the car at 9am. Room was clean and comfortable and in good condition. The staff were fun and engaging and helpful.
Excellent location with beautiful views. A short walk downhill to town. Accommodation was extremely well furnished and clean. We had the best bedroom we'd ever had on a weekend break. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice.
Pete was very nice and friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast for us in the morning with vegan pancake. He was also very helpful for us in planning our walk up Pen Y Fan. The house is a short walk to town centre and 20 minutes drive to Pen Y Fan car park. Very good shower.
Lovely B&B in Wales ! Beautiful building and grounds! Sue was an excellent host and Johnny made a plentiful and delicious breakfast! Room was fantastic, clean , plenty of sockets ! Bed was very comfortable! Wish we could have stayed longer!
Great location for a two day stay in Brecon. Friendly hosts who left tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, bread, milk and cereal for breakfast. cottage was v clean. Beds v comfy - needed for a good night's sleep after climbing up Pen-y-Fan!
The hotel was located right in the centre of Brecon! Ideal for us who were unfamiliar with the town. Great rooms on the ground for us were perfect. Delicious breakfast and available at a great price. Would definitely stay here again!!
The location is great, very close to Brecon Beacons National Park. The indoor pool was perfect for the kids to have fun during Eunice storm day. Hot tub after a trekking day was also brilliant.
beautiful cottage, lovely listening to the stream. lovely welcome pack, easy to get to the different areas of Brecon Beacons, great hot tub, comfy beds, quiet. eco friendly touches
Welcoming staff, comfortable spacious room, historic building, excellent breakfast available, very good location for exploring the Welsh/English border country.
