The room was comfortable and warm with stunning views across the water. Car parking was convenient opposite the hotel. The two evening meals we ate there were good.

Exceptionally clean, spacious, bright apartment. Dog-friendly and in a great location..food was absolutely delicious and catered very well for vegetarians!
Loved having access to a sauna & steam room facilities.
Located on the Isle of Skye, Broadford House Skye has rooms with free WiFi. The twin rooms have a shared bathroom whilst the other rooms at the property have an ensuite bathroom.

It had a good supermarket and was well located for access to all points of the Island. It had a nice "beachfront" walk and nearby hill walk too. It was a good spot for access to other locations.

They seem kind of under staffed at the moment.
They seem kind of under staffed at the moment. I’m not sure if it was only during my stay but they dropped the ball a lot. For the price I had to pay to stay there it is not worth it. But the room was comfy and the staff that was there were very helpful, but very over worked.

Nice place and good gift shops and lovely views.
One thing which was awful was the harbour restaurant- thought we would treat ourselves to good meal as advertising in window slow cooked lamb. Overpriced and underwhelming and very rude owner. Do not waste your money here !!

We liked Nothing about the Lodge or surroundings if you are happy to have WEEDS around your lodge and DUSTBINS as a view and don't mind being behind a Hostel and Undertaker, then go for it. The lodge was not equipped for 3 audults, very small, we found 1 frying pan 1small pot, there was no brush to sweep floor, the kitchen units are dated and not fitted well. The showers were tiny. To Sum up initially looks good, but very poor on closer inspection. This is without a doubt nothing but a WORKHORSE TO MAKE as much money out of the guests who stay at this property. Whoever owns this property needs to get their act together as the 6 lodges are no more than an extension to the hostel. GIVE THIS PROPERTY A WIDE BERTH For 4 uncomfortable nights we paid just under £1200, and I do intend to take this matter further with the owner.AA.

Broadford is a boring "wide spot in the road" with little to "recommend" it. The highlight is the bus transfer station AND THE ONLY Co-Op full service grocery store...be sure and stop...few or no other choices. Keep on going...the scenery and driving on Skye are all better away from Broadford.

Beautiful location, very attractive little village, lots of places to stay and eat especially in season. Good starting point for all the trips we made over three days. Hebridean Inn best for food but Broadford Hotel worth a visit.
Staying at the House of Juniper was a wonderful experience. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The rooms were very comfortable and included coffee/tea and a snack. Breakfast was delicious and delivered in a lovely little basket. The spa was not what you would consider as a traditional "spa" BUT the steam room and sauna were a great way to wrap up my day. And the cold water dump bucket was beyond refreshing. My only regret is not having time for an additional night on Isle of Skye.
Older, classic hotel, wood construction (creaky), nothing special, staff all interns/visitors from out of country, room was fine (that's all, just fine), restaurant (no other choices around) was OK for both dinner and breakfast (again that's all, just OK). Nice walk on the beach AND the Co-Op is next door...the only "real" store for miles and miles. Don't pass up or surrender your parking spot...can be tough and busses are glad to take many. It was an OK and costly port in the tourist storm.
This was an excellent hotel! We were able to get a last minute reservation and the owner put us on a large handicap accessible room with a kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bath. Everything was quite clean and the location of the property is in a farm like area just outside of the town of Broadford. We did not get a chance to see the rest of the mansion rooms or the unique cabins, but the location was wonderful. It would have been nice to stay here for several days. Highly recommend!
It's a hostel, likely more comfortable for the under-30 crowd. Short walk from Broadford bus stop. Interesting and diverse crowd; many languages. Staff is great. Rooms basic but decent. Shared bathrooms clean and numerous. Common kitchen and eating area far superior to most "nice" hotels and B&Bs. If you're ready for the hostel experience, this is a very good place.
Great place to stay for a home base while visiting Isle Of Skye. Food and groceries within walking distance. Literally across the street from Broadford Bay with great views.
Rooms were what you will expect for being in Isle of Skye, not luxury but very comfortable and clean. staff is very friendly and they have a restaurant on site, which we did not eat at.
Spacious room, comfy large bed, beautiful mountain views from window, very well designed kitchen with everything we needed and they even have a beautiful spa space with 2 types of saunas (additional fee). Would highly recommend this place as the location is ideal since Broadford also has good food places and cute wee shops and a food store a wee walk away.
Needed accommodation for 1 night as we caught a late ferry back to Skye and didn't want to drive through the night to go back home. We booked this hotel as it had a 24/7 manned desk and allowed late check-ins (we checked in at 11.30pm).
Double room and en-suite bathroom were clean.
Nice view of the sea and boats, but window couldn't be opened fully.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We arrived a bit after the kitchen closed and they still offered us to get dinner. The food (dinner and breakfast) was equally tasty, with local options. The location is perfect if you intend to start your exploration of Skye (beautiful views on the bay!). The room was not huge, but cosy and very clean.
A very comfortable and clean hostel on the Isle of Skye. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are willing to help you and recommend places to visit and eat. Close to the hostel there are several restaurants, a large supermarket and the cheapest petrol station along the way. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, as are the rooms.
Wonderful experience. The cottage was cosy, functional, and a great place to experience the great outdoors of the Isle of Skye. Eoin, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and extra information about the island and its culture. There is no wifi, but I loved the small library.
Staying in the Cottar was a unique experience.
The cabin is in a good location for someone visiting Skye for the first time with supermarket ,local shops and limited eateries takeaways nearby. The cabin was clean, well decorated and appointed offering everything in practical terms of what someone might desire for a short stay.
The location is easily accessible specially after a long drive to Skye , with many shops and service station at broadford . Also the hot tub is amazing to help relax after a long day of many thousand steps , and can not forget the complimentary drinks 😁.
Good Location for travelling in Skye. The bedroom had a lovely picturesque view. Hotel spotlessly clean with absolutely brilliant staff. The bonus was the food in the restaurant which was exceptional for dinner and breakfast. Recommend this highly.
Loved the cooked breakfasts every morning; great portion sizes and delicious. The beds were comfortable and the accommodation is across the road from the co-op (grocery store) which is handy and a couple of minutes walk to the Broadford hotel.
The views of the mountains were great from the entrance. The location is fantastic, close to coop for petrol and goods. Great entry point into Skye and also to the ferry. Easy communication to check in and check out.
Lovely location in the stunning Isle of Skye
Broadford hotel is home of drambuie
