This hotel is beautiful, they have done a great job with the aesthetics and the vibe. The gardens are beautiful and the restaurant is Devine and the food is great. The rooms are well appointed, they really tried to go for a modern feel, beds are super comfy and they give you 4 pillows which was a dream. The location is a 20 minute walk from main street brestagi which tbh isn't a mad thing. I liked it as a little oasis to prepare for my hike up the mountain and R&R. There's a great restaurant a 5 minute walk away and there was heaps of stuff really close by.

It was a lovely place. Very helpful/friendly owner who linked up us with Wendy (local Mt Sibayak Hike Guide). Not only managed to hike Mt Sibayak but she also brought us to visit the local fruit market, a waterfall and a beautiful church. This place is 6-8 mins from the main city street. It was clean.

Smiley was an amazing host! We only stayed for one night, to do Mount Sibayak sunrise hike. We also arranged airport pickup through SMILEY'S and he helped us to book a driver and waterfall tour for the next part of the trip. Our breakfast was also amazing, loads of fruits and yummy cinnamon pancakes. Thank you SMILEY'S 🙏

To climb the vulcano in daytime no need for a guide.
To climb the vulcano in daytime no need for a guide. For the sunset if the sky is clear no guide needed. But if it is cloudy and night - get a guide.
Extremly loud city due to the crazy motobikers.
The accomodation is perfect for a stoppover to Lake Toba. We did a volcano tour with Erwin Sinaga and Agus, they do their best for us, coffee on the top and breakfast in the hotel after trekking, we also enjoyed the hot springs for relaxing after the hike. The price was really good and they werd very friendly. After the tour Agus brought us to Lake Toba. I really recommend the hotel and the tour for 100%, thank you and tremakassi

Perfect location for a stay in Berastagi! The owner and his family are super friendly and helpful. They assist you to get around, can organize tours to the Sibayak volcano (with the son, who’s also super friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the area) and have good Tipps for restaurants nearby. Rooms are big and clean. breakfast is tasty and they also prepare vegan banana pancakes. we loved our stay there!
